Love the defense making some plays after Indiana State’s long drive. Pressure is a beautiful thing to see. That’s what has made Bubba’s D fun to watch and hard to play against in the past.
I feel like there’s been so many plays where it’s such a bad throw and our guys are not even trying to get the ball. Just waiting for the receiver to catch it so they can whiff on a tackle.
I don’t think this is popular amongst all (especially the crowd that would rather have someone with no connection to UND or even the area) but I’m all in on Freund being the heir apparent and I kind of think that may be the plan, although I have zero knowledge on that.
Looks they are averaging 124 yards/game on the ground and giving up almost 179. Hopefully a big day for Hoosman, Smith (hold onto the ball) and Ziebarth.
