Did Mara play in the first? Wasn’t able to catch the first half. Hoping to start seeing more and more of him. If Brady’s hurt, I’d think that happens.

I am generally an optimist with UND sports but these last two games are far more telling than the previous 6. I knew shooting was going to be a problem coming into the year but I chose to have faith in someone stepping up. I knew if Ihenacho didn’t gain eligibility max we’d be missing a PG but also had faith King could handle it.

Well the transfer portal officially opens tomorrow. Guessing we haven’t seen the end of it.

Well Friday’s game was disappointing, to say the least, but now UND (KP 257) turns the page and faces UC Riverside (KP 221). UND is +4.5 and KenPom projects this as a 72-67 loss. Turn the page from Friday and come home from California with a split and 2-1 on the year.

BJ is bottom 20% that surprises me although maybe I take into too much account his blocks.

I want to be serious about Hong, could he run the backup point? I wonder how his defense is. Thinking probably not his strength?

I don’t disagree. One thing about a one bid league like the Summit though is that truly the only games that matter are in Sioux Falls. I mean the other games matter but not going to end your season.

That was extremely frustrating. Omot needs to figure his !@#$ out. I liked that King was more aggressive. Eaglestaff was decent.

The start to the year, minus Iowa, has been fun but we knew there was some luck involved and we weren’t beating amazing teams. This game, so far, isn’t what we are either. I still think we have work to do to be atop the summit though. Middle of the pack finish and then hopefully a strong run in Sioux Falls.

This has ms a bit worried going forward. Obviously we weren’t going to win every game but our offense is nonexistent.

UND (KP 241) heads out west for the return game for Fullerton (KP 214) competing in the MTE last year. UND actually kind of had their way with them last year in somewhat of a surprise. Well fast forward to this year and UND is riding a 6 game win streak while Fullerton has one D1 win over Southern Miss. Despite the records, KenPom predicts UND to fall in this one 73-68. It appears that this is another team with a high scoring guard, Max Jones. He’s averaging 18.5 points, 3.8 boards and 2.8 assists. I’d also keep an eye on Donovan Oday. Looks like he’s coming off the bench but average 10.6 points. I’m mostly interested in him because I was hoping to land him out of high school and then again when he transferred from McNeese State. Not sure if an official offer was ever made either time but he was on their radar at least. Looks like we will be able to catch this one on ESPN+.
