Tim Gordon now holds offers from NDSU and UNI. Definitely going to be a tough get for us but I guess we can pitch that he can play and start right away. I mean whoelse is going to start at CB for us next year? Dan Konowalski has had some hype around him for a while but I don't think he touched the field this past season as a RS FR.

Schmidt has been the obvious choice for the DC it Bubba was to get the job. Now that Bubba has it, I am more interested in the OC.

SFI seems to believe that the DC will more than likely be Schmidt too. I just really hope our OC doesn't run some spread offense. I just want an offense like we used to run and Bubba seems to want that too.

Probably a long shot but is there any chance of bringing in Brooks as the OC?

I would think that he could be but that doesn't seem ideal to me.

We have always heard about all this trimming fat when it comes to the roster, well I think Bubba will actually do that. He seems to want guys that are excited to play/coach for UND not playing because this is a "business".

I was definitely surprised to see how much emotion Bubba showed. Wow! That makes me excited that he's the guy!

Just curious, why do you want him to stay as the QB coach? Many seem to want him gone mainly because our redshirt freshman QBs didn't put up heisman numbers. I'm just wondering why you think he should stay? I'm neutral on him. Great QB, don't know how he is as a coach.

I like Longo but why did he go from the OC at SIU (seems like a pretty good job), to the receivers coach and recruiting coordinator at Slippery Rock. That seems like a definite downgrade to me. I see that he is a New Jersey native so I guess maybe he wanted to be closer to home.

Didn't gfhockey say from the beginning that it was going to be Bubba? Sure he said it was going to happen the next day but he had the right coach at the beginning.
