I'm pretty excited to see what Gaber will do as he settles in. UND had a ton of chances last night, they will continue to bury more of those as they knock the rust off. They looked really solid last night, and yeah, I would have like to have seen a few more goals last night, but they will come. Just great to see college hockey back. I have to say, I watch some of the Gopher vs. Ohio State the other week, and this last night looked like a whole different level of hockey. Gophers looked solids, Ohio State looked really sluggish, but I didn't think either team looked overly impressive for being top ten teams. Just my opinion, and I didn't even have that much to go off of.

Good lord, I've had enough. Not worth watching the last few minutes. That was dreadful, possibly worse than the Miami game. Friday is going to be ugly.
-
This is actually embarrassing watching these guys piss this away. Had a 9 pt lead, now down by 9.

Looks like Sims is going out with something hurting
-
Is Brian Jones back and coaching our free throw shooting?
-
50-50, Sueker at the line to shoot 1

I would assume games will all be on ESPN3 or ESPN+. Can't wait for some footall!
-
I get it was only like a 3 point spread, but it does seem a bit underwhelming. Hoping UND can create some separation in the 2nd have. Friday could get really ugly against the Goofs.

Glad it wasn't just me

Well the hockey team took care of business. Time for the basketball team to take care of theirs. I expect a much cleaner performance than against Miami. Hope to see Nero get going right away. Gotta have more from Rebraca. I think Sims should get some more playing time and I’d like to see Shockey get a few more deep shots. just can’t have all those ridiculous turnovers. Lets Go!

Money is certainly one avenue, but I have no opposition to athletes being vocal about where they stand. Its all about their approach. Be creative and find a way that actually brings people closer together. From my point of view, this generates way more discussion about kneeling that racial equality; sooo what is being accomplished?
-
I'm appreciate the point they are trying to make, I just don't agree with their method. Seems like if you want to actually bring attention to your cause you would want to do so in a less divisive way. When people boo for those kneeling, I don't believe it has anything to do with race or equality ... it has everything to do with the disrespect of kneeling during the national anthem. It would be like continuing to kick you in the face and expect that you will somehow start agreeing with my cause. From day 1 this kneeling business was divisive, the more people the started doing it, the more upset people get. The folks who are doing this are only hurting their own cause by not finding a better way to create awareness. Seems to me that taking a knee is simply the easy thing to do, and people would rather stir the pot and create more issues that find a smart way to bring everyone together.

So sorry for your loss! He was a big contributor on this forum. Thoughts and prayers for you and your family!

I missed that part, I was hoping it would be like my 6 year old's soccer team where they all line up and clap for the other team.

NIce finish to the half. Take care of the ball in the second half and we'll be ok. Cut our turnovers in half in the first and we're winning this. At least the shooting has heated up.
-
ugh this shooting is getting really ugly, reminiscent of the Summit Tourney Championship last year
-
I'd like to see Shockey get some more deep opportunities.
-
A few really dumb mistakes and turnovers so far though. DAE with a really questionable shot. Brady with the air ball, and what the heck was that last turnover.
-
Sims moves well too.

I was just going to say the same thing. Guy looks like the real deal.

I'm not even a huge basketball person, but I'm really looking forward to this. Given Covid and the sports world even bein out of whack, I'm really pumped for some UND basketball (and hockey ... and football eventually). Really hoping this team can gel and surprise some people. I'm kind of a fair-weather fan with basketball, so hopefully they retain my interest all season. I certainly watched a ton of it the year the went dancing.
-
Sure, hope so! In today's world, I feel like this shouldn't even be a question with all of the streaming capabilities.

What are the general thoughts on the game again Miami? I for one am pretty anxious for some UND sports. I haven't read anything overly impressive about Miami, but I'm not a basketball guy either. How do we matchup here?
