LSU 24 OK 17 OH! Um... UND 31 GVSU 28 Glas kicks a 51 yarder to win it with 4 seconds left on the clock in the 4th period. GVSU leads the game until Roland scores with 5 minutes remaining in the 4th quarter.

If they won't allow the SCSU sign in (Can't spell Sucks without SCSU), I doubt they'd allow any similar signs into the Ralph.

Wow, may Jessie Helms never find this site.

The bus fare seems steep but it is actually cheaper than Greyhound simply because you are paying for a round trip ticket ($145) which is what Greyhound charges for one way. Now, they do have a charter option, but they do not have a pricing function for them. I would figure that this deal is still better than chartering a Greyhound.

I would like to run a thought by you all. I'm wondering if Hall has an edge on the other two that has not been considered yet. What about how good the team does? Awards in the big time conferences and pro leagues seem to follow how well the team does that the person nominated is on as at least part of the determination as to who gets the award. Now, I don't have any quotes so I was wondering if this is really a factor or is this just a percieved factor that holds no water.

Despite the fact that I would love to see the WCHA Final Five in Grand FOrks and the Frozen Four at the X eventually, I'm ok with the X as the site for the final five. Like I allueded too, I'd love to have the frozen four a little more midest centered. However, it is doubtful to make it all the way over here. Closest I could imagine it being is Detroit's arena there.

Troy Murray agreed to play on my intramural hockey team, when he was honored at the Ralph! Too bad he wasn't serious... and I don't have an intramural hockey team.

ESPN would be a poor regulating source. They favor big schools especially out east and double especially in the New England and Florida (Florida State and Miami) regions.

No bars in Florence? WOW. I've been to some places in ND and Minnesota where you could just about hold town meetings every night at the local establishments they were so esconsed in "culture." What does one do for fun in Florence? And is there a real thing as moonshine?

On a somewhat unrelated yet related note: Does anyone know who we are playing this year in the Subway classic tourney?

I know it wasn't meant as disrespect. If it was, I would have asked for it to stop a long time ago. I guess I'm really stressed right now. This site is the place I can escape for now. This next week will be excrutiating. As for the thread topic, I thought it was neat that Panzer was ranked ahead of some guy who was a 2nd round pick. I think it is really his work ethic. He's small and he's not the fastest player in the AHL I am sure, but he does anything and everything he can to make sure that everyone knows he is working hard. However, it is the free agent signings like Panzer and the AHL and ECHL outright players that I worry about with the CBA agreement.

Maybe this is the stress talking but I would ask that everyone please tone down the Mapletoft references to me. I realize the mistake I made and the humor it brought, but right now I'm not so sure I recognize humor in it or anything on this board anymore. Times are tough for me and maybe I'll look back and think this post was dumb and delete it, but for the time being, please back off.

I believe Minnesota has already played us. They stomped us big time. MNS's girl even scored a goal.

I'm not a big fan of the Santa referee sign because it's not really true. They have only called one diving penalty since I started watching UND hockey. At least, WCHA refs. CCHA refs who reffed the Ferris State game last season don't count. So they don't really see when the fall is fake.

Famous Dave's really hot bBQ sauce is GOOOOOOOOD

Perhaps, but I wouldn't want to face BC without Parise and Murray. 10 to 1 Murray and Parise steal the show in the WJC. And dollars to donuts they come home with a ton of jet lag.

That's ok if Stafford doesn't go. He'll go next year. Besides, with him in GF over break, he can get a good chance to play leader of the forwards. You know what I'd like to see for the SCSU series? Bo-Stafford-Porter line Heaven knows, Porter has played his butt off. But then again, Genoway and Fylling deserve to be on that line too.

Wasn't it Sandy McCarthy who was scratched for like 3 games after his suspension because he got in one too many fights as was acting detrimental to the team? I don't know. I've heard of someone in the NHL who that happened to. Don't know who it was exactly. Besides, with production becoming the most important aspect of professional hockey, enforcers like Scott Parker, who's most known for fighting, is finding a hard time finding work every night.

They don't usually but they are now. Case in Point- Marc Andre Fleury is now on Team Canada. Not that the Penguins would miss him. He's only 18 and playing for the defenseless, offenseless, and special teamsless Penguins. With him or without him they'll still suck.

Could we call NDSU the Bison please? The only real "Thundering Herd" in football is from a school called Marshall. That's a game I'd love to see. Thundering Herd versus the Faux Thundering Herd. Seriously though, one of the best parts of the rivalry was that it was always a good game regardless of records. I would say you can continue the rivalry as long as the team that gets put in place is going to be able to compete. Non of those mentioned seem to be very good teams at all. A rivalry between us and someone who isn't going to probably win the trophy is about as realistic as making a trophy rivarly between UNA and the Crimson Tide.

Keep working on it and then maybe you can play with the club DI powerhouse NDSU

All I have to say is Romanowski. Yeah, he spent most of his time in Denver getting the rep, but didn't he do something really cheap at the beginning of this season? Oh, and it was to his TEAMMATE! As for mites or squirts etc, they don't allow checking even until Bantam or some level like that (12 years old or so). Correct me if I am wrong (which I have been lately). And if there is fighting in that league (bantam or whatever that allows checking for the first time), evidence shows it is the father's in the stands doing the fighting and not the kids. Case in point, a hockey dad killed another hockey dad because he thought the check that his son recieved was cheap. So if you want to talk about fighting in the youth leagues, it would show a poor coach or it would be the parents not the kids. Just imagine that kid who lost his dad because of a questionable check during a game. If someone has more info on that case, maybe they can give more specifics?
