The stuff you mention isn't just something that happens against the Sioux. Really, that's just stuff that the officials decide to let fly whether it is UND involved or otherwise. We can't let that get to us. Really, what gets my goat is the Shepherd mandated parity in officiating. This game could become a rout if Anderson doesn't give SCSU the benefit of the doubt. In all fairness, Anderson has already screwed both sides. SCSU's Nongoal was a goal. Even TH admits it.

Isn't it amazing how great team play accentuates the play of the stars? I agree Mason was lights out, but look at how well Team Canada played team defense! Sorry, I know I shouldn't be "hatin'" on Team USA, but until they finally swallow their pride and turn Team USA into a team rather than an All Star Pageant, they'll always play second fiddle to Team Canada...Team Sweden...Team Russia...

Maybe in Australia, the Queens won't suck. I agree with Cratter. I say that it really won't leave the state. Duluth makes sense to me and it may bring more attention to the need for UMD to get a new arena. If they hold training camp in Gaborik's hometown then the Wild are no better than the T-Wolves with Garnett or the Lakers with Bryant. Doing things just to make their one star feel better rather than improve the whole team. And even if Gaborik wasn't from Slovakia, holding it there would be well... retarded. It will be in Duluth.

My skepticism comes in the WCHA playoffs. However, I'm still very optimistic for the NCAAs. I think we'll make the regionals and we seem to be able to beat any team once. It is just the inconsistency that drives me crazy. How we can go from giving up ZERO shots in one period to giving up three straight goals in the next is beyond me.

So you are saying that the silver lining in all of this is that we seem to be able to play 5 solid periods of hockey against any opponent out there? I'll give you that much, but it doesn't matter how good the 5 periods are when the 6th period nets you the loss.
