I agree. It sounds bad to transfer out but when looking at ND hockey the skill level is just not there, imo. If the players can go play in Canada, USHL, NAHL, whatever and play much better talent on a nightly basis, why not? I am sure there is some delusion when it comes to some players but for higher end talent it certainly is understandable.

But it does mean he knows a hell of alot more about hockey than 99.5% of the parents

All I am saying is the guys that play, play for a reason. The guys that don't, don't play for a reason. I have yet to see a situation where fans wondered why a kid isn't playing and there wasn't a very good reason why. Whether it's they aren't as good as guys in front of them, work ethic in practice, attitude, or whatever Bringing in another RB is not a knock on Ziebarth or anybody else. They need more depth

Need to earn their shots. Every kid who is good enough and has earned it has played. Yet to see a kid sitting on the sideline for a 7-4 program that was actually lights out but never given a chance.
