You realize BF accepted Gene's offer and then never heard back for a year. That was an actual verbal agreement between BOTH. And Gene never followed up on his own offer. Quit making excuses for him. The facts are all laid out in this thread but you guys go back three or four offers ago to make your case. Gene and Faison have since sent back/forth multiple offers so quit bringing up extinct offers from 2007-2011. They are null and void.

Right. Except Gene changed the offer, again, to only $125K for 2015. He conveniently forgot to throw that tidbit in their the first time. Then, he left the 2015 and 2017 amounts open ended, only saying "they would be closer to the previously mentioned amounts (175-190K). Which means he will come back and say the offer for 2015 and 2017 is only 150K now "because things changed on his end". Then we start all over again.

Gene needs to slow down and figure out "what is best for NDSU" then. Because he keeps coming up with new things that are "best for NDSU", based on climate change, and then changing his own offer.

Because schedules need to be set with 5-6 home games vs. road games and buildings need to be scheduled out. Getting 6 home games SET is the goal of most FCS AD's.
