UND isn't behind the times, they were actually ahead of the times for years, putting on a big event in the Alerus. They purposely chose to make it less of an event for whatever reason. That isn't 'behind the times'. The times show that the event itself is dying if you would bother to look around.

No it actually isn't "done around the country" much anymore at all. The full spring game thing is dying a slow, painful death. To the point that any inclement weather at all will cancel the game completely - that's how important they are. Teams that make money have no problem with them, others do them cause they feel they have to and then the actual spring game itself turns out to be the most boring event ever.
