Watched Becoming Wild with Vinni Lettieri. He said he thought he was coming to UND, and last minute Minnesota swooped in. Thought that was interesting, especially his grandpa being Lou Nanne.
Well Glen Somnor has passed on but maybe Lou would have made the road trip himself to try and change his mind if he had committed to UND.

Need to shut down fiddler and not let him shoot free throws all nite
Too bad we can't bring the officiating crew back that did the bison game.....while the way they called the game definitely played more to NDSU's strengths they were consistent and let the teams play....especially in the paint. Fiedler shot 20 free throws when we played them in Omaha which would have translated to about 8-10 with the crew we had last Saturday.

Nice post.
When I attended UND it was the opposite, at least the classes I was in. I will say that Jake Brandt for the celebrity that he was was always at class, and seemed to do well.
I remember when i was in college, my roomate sat next to one of the star players on the basketball team and after the second exam in Accounting 201 he asks him how he is doing in this class and he responded "Coach says I am passing!"

You mean the guy who's worked his way onto two FCS advisory committees? Maybe you should start a gofundme to buy a clue...
It's his turn. Pretty sure every A.D. in the conference rotates through these positions.

Lots can change obviously but the current NCAA scenario would have us playing in Springfield, Mass. against UMass in first round.

Argue brooks then and I won’t complain. Stop saying Mara.
But I think Brady at least somewhat challenges the opponent on the 3 point line. I could guard Brooks from here and he wouldn’t make it beyond the arc.
24% isn't challenging them when they beg him to shoot it.

tap the break ms sather.........keep it going.
don't have to cut brady but give his minutes to eli or mara and maybe we win this game by ten?
I think Brooks could easily take some of those minutes as well. He isn't a great shooter either but he is good defender, more athletic, and can score at the rim. He also doesn't take bad shots and is pretty efficient. Is he injured?

Just not really BJs game to post up… hes way better off the dribble and penetrating… doesn’t really have a post game
I realize that but they took that part of his game away today and if they are going to guard you with a guy giving up 8 inches you post him up 2-3 times and then they probably look to a different option which then brings his strength back into play.

Amar and Tyree are making all the difference with this team. They give this team grit. UND matched up with NDSU in post. And to me that is the game.
UND:
Amar - 4 - OReb, 9 - DReb, 2 - BLK, 11 - pts
TT - 1 - OReb, 1 - DReb, 0 - BLK, 10 - pts
NDSU:
Morgan: 1 - OReb, 3 - DReb, 0 - BLK, 14 - pts
Feddersen: 1 - OReb, 4 - DReb, 0 - BLK, 6 - pts
And I don't understand how Omot did not take his defender to the cleaners. NDSU matched up a 6' guard on him. That should have been exploited all game long.
Omot FG 4-12, 0 - OReb, 1 - DReb, 0 - Asst, 10 - pts
Should have posted Omot up rather than trying to take him off the dribble all night.

Miami was certainly more efficient when shooting the puck.
UND 77 shots, 34 on net, 28 blocked, 15 off the mark.
Miami 43 shots, 31 on net, 8 blocked, 4 off the mark

Either gassed, or displeased in some way. Maybe both. I’m trying to stir the pot here.
They will need some hydration and probably a few ice baths....blocking 28 shots is a shitload and some will leave a mark.

After two periods...shot attempts are 56-28. Miami has blocked 18 shots, UND 5.
We are also getting dominated on faceoffs.

What a bad turnover from our D Man.
Our D are a little leaky tonight....not sure if the puck is jumping over sticks but they need to clean it up

SOG 10-9 Miami
Attempts are 23-13 UND. Miami has blocked 7 shots and we have sent 7 off target. UND has blocked 3.

That’s my only guess. Does schmaltz win draws, play D, etc? That would be the only reason. I know he doesn’t drive offense.
Schmaltz, Strinden, and the Nickel shut down the top scoring line in the country last weekend.

I’m assuming you’re talking about TT here correct?
Because if so, I don’t think I’ve witnessed one either
I think him and Omot both shoot to many. TT actually hits a little higher percentage than Omot.

I don't think that bar is open anymore. We drove by it in 2022 and it looked abandoned.
Well it kind of looked abandoned when it was open but yeah, it has been closed for a long time.
