Pinto with 4 goals already. Picked him up on my fantasy team
And he now has a goal in 5 straight games....oh, and he is winning 61% of faceoffs as well.

So using the midwestern hawk ratio it should be about 8500
Or we could hire Bob Entzion to do the attendence count and it would be 14,000

I have it on good authority that Minnesota has considered replacing the ice at Mariucci with paper....since the Gophers are always better on paper.

Well.....they have been on the ice for 7 of last 12.
Which is crazy when you look at Kleven last year had a string of like 14 games in a row and 18 of 19 games where he wasn't on ice for an even strength goal against.

The destination games are good for promoting the program, recruitment and the school recognition on a very visible nation wide level. And it’s the REA footing most of the bill. Attendance is down for a lot of things across the country. Movie theaters are still way down, games across all sports, events etc while we still break attendance records. Everyone wants to complain about something.
Not too mention that many alumni with deep pockets attend these games as well and those whose job it is to raise money for the University use the opportunity to press the flesh a bit....or they are doing it wrong.

Can remember being at that UC Davis game in 2001, very loud and electric atmosphere. Their QB hung around the NFL for the better part of the decade and didn't score on us.
Was there as well. Up in the Suite at the end of the Alerus where the goal line stands took place. It was deafening in the Al that day.

Lived in Litchville, ND for a few years as a very young kid. We moved from Litchville to Linton when i was going into first grade. I spent quite a bit of time in Earl and Janice's and his brother Theron and Mavis's living rooms raiding the hard candy dish as a youngen. We essentially lived between them. Great family who did a lot for North Dakota and UND.

Good post. . thats an interesting and probably accurate way to look at it.
I see it's intent more as an avenue for the player to do the work of obtaining the comp for their NIL....
But that is not the reality.... you are more accurate in your assessment.
This was the original intent....College Athletes should be able to market their name and image was the arguement which I agree with. if a player wants to run a hockey camp in the summer or shoot a commercial and get compensated for it they should be able to. The biggest market for some of these athletes is as a brand influencer and using their various social media accounts....this lasted for a few months and while that is still the main avenue for many athletes it has quickly turned into a complete free for all and the NCAA gas basically said fu*& it, do whatever you want.

shouldn't that be on und webpage on the schedule page?
I might have bee wrong on that. If you were on the UND volleyball page and clicked watch it would take you to the NDSU site where you use NDSU all access to watch. Not sure the cost?
I just saw the watch button but was at the hockey game so didn't explore further.

Two illegal man down field calls negating about 50 yards of plays.
My DVR still says "fumble". (I don't see a knee down unless I'm looking at the wrong thing.)
And a phantom PI.
And only down one at half.
The first illegal man down the field call was probably somewhat legit as he probably drifted as Tommy rolled out to the right as he is the left guard. The second was ridiculous and almost impossible with how quick Tommy threw the ball.

Am I out of line here in suggesting that we nab a NDSU (gasp!) coordinator or assistant and tell them to do in Grand Forks what they did in Fargo? I hate NDSU FB and their success as much as anyone on here (someone mentioned that some UND hockey fans are Bison fans for other sports - I especially hate that approach), but you have to admit that they know how to get it done.
I do know that UND reached out to Klieman a year or two before Bohl left NDSU to gage his interest.

Curious with Schlossman giving updates on other UND recruits in the USHL that is positive, why he doesn't give and update on something that isn't positive like this Singleton news.
Every kid is on their own path. Some get where they want to go and some don't.

Thanks Johnny
I wasn’t trying to be disrespectful but I assumed he wouldn’t have had much access to a weight lifting program. That said farm strength is a great start. And yes, I am sure any farm boy has a great work ethic and his upside is off the charts. Very exciting to have him and very excited to watch him progress.
you might even have to go to a game or more to watch him. Start by wearing neutral colors and before long you’ll have some Kelly
thanks for posting
Who knows Johnny? Take in a football game to watch your nephew and maybe catch a hockey series the same weekend. I assume you are a closet UND hockey fan.

Plus I think Grady had a few highlights go viral as well. I seem to remember him running back kickoffs.

A lot of really great insight from some individuals whom I consider good hockey minds (don't put me in that category
) comes from this board. I've been lucky enough to have followed this board for 20 plus years and been able to read a lot of really good content.
Also have seen a lot of stuff that would make a guy cringe....
Need to stay off that Facebook page.
