To be perfectly fair, isn't every band that formed since Metal Health dropped a tribute to those guyz? I mean, Cum on...

I have seen hundreds of bands over the last 35-40 years at all kinds of venues and to this day Quiet Riot is the worst band I have every seen live. They played at the ND State Fair and were literally booed off the stage.  I rank them a little behind the performance of Buck Nekkid who played at the Oakes, ND Street Dance.

  2. I predicted 6-2 Huskies tonight and 3-2 UND tomorrow.

Was hoping we would be ready to play tonight because anyone paying attention had to know SCSU was going to be ready coming off 3 losses in a row and a week off. Apparently our coaching staff and captains were unaware of this or unable to convey the message because we were not ready to go on  a Friday night once again.

  3. Schools must be a lot less stringent these days when it comes to transferring credits from one school to another. I remember back when I was in school(late 80's) I had friends switch schools and they would lose credits going from one school to another either because the class didn't fit the cirriculum at the school you were transferring and many times if you didn't have an A or a B the class would alos not transfer to new school.

Texas Tech Andrayah Adams committs to UND. 5'10" guard

"The Lady Raiders have won four games in a row against Oklahoma. Last season, Tech prevailed 89-84 in overtime in Lubbock and 106-94 in Norman, Oklahoma, with guard Andrayah Adams leading the way in both games with 29 points. Adams has played in only two games this season, none since Dec. 9."

    What happened to this transfer?

If he falls flat on his face but rolls over to find himself on the campus quad looking up at a number of co-eds on a nice, sunny SoCal day, however...

    That's a chance worth taking.

As an outside observer, yeah that was a heck of a slash that should have been called amd is inexcusable that it wasn't, but I'm not sure I could argue there was intent to injure or anything out of the ordinary. The end result doesn't necessarily mean anything as far as the penalty or any kind of discipline.

    True.

Sillinger from Bemidji State was just suspended by the CCHA for his hit to the head against Arizona State last weekend.

Guessing it took a lot longer to get your drink, food, and bill though.

Brutal. I get they are short staffed but when a waitress walks by for the 8th time and doesn't even acknowledge that you are there and avoid eye contact it is just !@#!$ service...This is what made me remember our last experience there which was pre pandemic and it was the same result.

Family and I went to the Blue Moose in EGF before game on Saturday. Probably have eaten there twenty times over the years and have always left very satisfied. Kind of our go to when up there for Sioux hockey games

We usually hit Bonzers but decided to switch it up on Saturday and hit Tavern United. It didn't take long to remember why we hadn't been there in awhile.

Was at the game. The score doesn’t reflect how well the boys played. Defense was superior tonight. Driscoll made some big saves too. Boys got sticks in lanes and on shots. Well played game considering how Friday went

I was as well and would agree. As dominant as Minnesota was last night UND was even more stifling tonight. The biggest difference was the Gophers got a couple fluky goals to go with their dominant performance on Friday.

Wow what an embarrassment. I should have spend my time and money supporting the football team because this hockey team is awful. We cannot be blown out by a crappy team at home especially when it’s a rivalry game.

Crappy Team? Other than Michigan, Minnesota has the most talented team in the country. UND has to beat them as a team and do the intangibles which has usually been the case over the years. If you are doing an honest assessment of talent and were forming 1 team from these rosters you would end up with 2-3 defensemen and 3-4 forwards from UND to make the 18 man lineup.

    UND: We want logo.

    SME: Ok $350,000

    UND: We were thinking..... cheaper.

SME: ok... we can recolor a current logo... $200k

UND: We dont actuallycarr what it is just need something.....

SME: We have a secondary logo for $100k

    UND: Getting warmer but like..less.

SME: we can do a generic bird secondary logo "inspired" by the USPS, that can really only work in one direction?... $50k?

UND: Awesome... I have this coupon....

SME: FML.... fine, go grab that intern we just fired and tell him we have another 2 days of work.

Like I said at the time. If I had a youth basketball team that wanted some jerseys for their travel team and wanted us to create a logo for them and our art department sent me this logo I would have emailed the art department back and told them to start over and would not have forwarded it to the customer,

I played for Pat.  We had decent years for his first few years but then it fell apart.   We still had some of Murph's players for a time and Pat did get some good players too but he lost the team my last 2 years and they didn't respect him.  Football is really hard when your best players basically roll their eyes after the coach's speech that's meant to fire the team up.

Pat was young and micromanaged the program and all of his assistants.  It was just too much and every assistant coach and athletic trainer spot turned over in the 4 years I was there.  Who they recruited had to be Pat's idea.  One former assistant told me this story - if they liked a player they'd show him the film but claim they were interested in a different player.  They'd say - we really like #10 but check out #33 also.  We think #10 can be a stud but #33 is kind of so-so.   Pat would say - what do you mean?   #33 is the guy we want and let's go after him.  If they started with - we think we should recruit #33, he wasn't interested.

That being said - making the playoffs was much harder then.   Only 8 teams made it nationally.  we were 7-3 and 8-3 two of those years and would have made the playoffs if the took the number of teams they take now.

I started school at UND in the fall of 1984. I remember UND starting out 7-0 that year and highly ranked before the injury bug hit. Losing to Omaha and then a 14-3 loss to NDSU in a driving rain/ice storm. I don't remember how many turnovers we ended up with but I do recall that we put the ball on the turf 8 times.

Loved how everyone got in lines at the old Ralph pregame, then when the doors were opened it was like a land rush in Oklahoma in the 1800s. NO RULES.

An afternoon at Buck Pitchers at the Spud made everyone happy.

It was the weekends when Hockey was out of town that were problematic.

Buck Pitchers at the Spud 11am-6pm

Buck Pitchers at The Bridge 3pm-7pm

Two for Ones at the Antique 7pm-8pm

So they should've pulled Otis for the rest of the game after the first fumble?  Another bad coaching decision!!

The 4th down fumble botched handoff, bad pitch...not sure which and it didn't seem like Otis and Bo knew what it was supposed to be either was going to be a change of possession anyway as the terrible play call took us 8 yards behind the line of scrimmage on 4th and short.

Never read the Twitter timeline of someone with pronouns in their bio.

Yep.  Bubba and the staff has done many great things, but we are chasing the greatest dynasty in the history of college football and we will NEVER have a good enough roster to compensate for the continuous game management/ clock management mistakes.

I went back through the MSU game, someone tell me where I am wrong.  40 second play clock in college football correct?  We run the "dipsy doodle" reverse pass play on 4th and 2 at the MSU 29 with a 28-17 lead and MSU takes over with 6:36 to go. They score 6 plays and 2:03 later to make it 28-24 UND.

UND takes over with 4:33 to go.  Here is what transpires:

    North Dakota 28-25 Missouri St.
    North Dakota at 04:33
    North Dakota at 04:33
1st and 10 at UND25 NORTH DAKOTA drive start at 04:33.
1st and 10 at UND25 Weah, Otis rush over left end for 34 yards to the MSU41, 1ST DOWN UND (Braswell,Montra).
1st and 10 at MSU41 Weah, Otis rush up middle for 4 yards to the MSU37 (Stewart,Jaylen).
2nd and 6 at MSU37 Smith, Isaiah rush over right end for 4 yards to the MSU33 (Joe,Lemondre).
3rd and 2 at MSU33 Weah, Otis rush up middle for 1 yard to the MSU32 (Manuleleua,Ferr;McDonald,Kyriq).
4th and 1 at MSU32 Vaughn, Quincy rush up middle for 5 yards to the MSU27, 1ST DOWN UND (Williams,Jalen;Goree,Devin).
1st and 10 at MSU27 Weah, Otis rush up middle for 4 yards to the MSU23 (Johnson,Eric;Ellis,Kevin).
2nd and 6 at MSU23 Timeout Missouri St., clock 01:49.
2nd and 6 at MSU23 Weah, Otis rush over right end for loss of 2 yards to the MSU25, fumble forced by Young,Von, fumble by Weah, Otis recovered by MSU Johnson,Eric at MSU24.

At even 35 seconds per play shouldn't the clock have been under a minute to go when Otis fumbled?

Their game winning drive took 8 plays and 1:24.  What am I missing here?

The 4th and 1 play I believe we snapped the ball with about 20 seconds left on the playclock.
