  1. Everything about those two sound exactly like a prototype Sioux. Hard working, skilled and instinctual. Love it. Keep working, Rhett and Jackson. We can't wait to see you in Green and White.
  2. You think so? Couple that with a weekend sweep, UND may find themselves at No. 1 in the PWR, no? Would surely flip the MSU-M comparison, right?
  3. Spot on. Just like this past weekend. Early and often. Don't lay off the gas.
  4. I don't disagree. I'm just going off what I've seen of them (admittedly not much... I've watched parts of three games) and looking at some of their scores against other opponents they've played. I'm not saying their bad, whatsoever. You don't win that many games by being bad. I just don't know if they are No. 1 in the country good. I can honestly say, even though we've lost a few games, that I believe we are better than every opponent we've played up to this point in the season. Some may disagree, obviously. I think Miami, UNO and UMD are the best three teams we've played and when we played our best against those squads, we were unquestionably the better team. Again, just my opinion.
  5. Honestly, still not convinced Mankato is that good. They split with UMD and Omaha and beat the WCHA. I'm really not trying to be a hater, but I've only seen them a couple times and wasn't very impressed. I think UMD could give Minny fits. Their front line speed will test the blue line pylons of Minnesota. I think that is a good litmus test for Minnesota. I hope they beat Mankato and get to play Duluth. Or, Mankato rolls Minny and we all realize that Minny is really average. I'm fine with either lol.
  6. Kid has been pretty non-committal since he pulled his verbal. I don't see this much more than a cutesy story. A prospect like Boeser needs to and will make his own decision based on himself and no one else. Also, playing on the same line for that amount of time may come off as a bad thing to scouts. Maybe Boeser sees that he needs to get out and play with other players and show he can score just the same. No? Idk lol.
  7. EXACTLY. They aren't good defensively. Until that changes, they can lose to any team in the Big 10.
  8. Mattson did it on Saturday, too. The defenders seem to be thinking the the puck going to the corner or the point and just let it happen.
  9. I, for one, am still nervous about a late run from Minny because they are very talented and capable, but, they aren't playing very well. If they lose two at the NS Cup this weekend, which they could very well do, they will need to win the Big 10 tourney.
  10. Daddy Dump and Chase's Roses and Thorns from this weekend's series. See what stood out to him. Agree? Disagree? http://daddydumpandchase.blogspot.com/2015/01/roses-and-thorns-breathing-easy.html
  11. Lol, you better be hopeful that your team wins that Big 10 tourney, because you drop one or two more games, your teams doesn't have enough SoS to get an auto bid. Better start winning games.
  12. Zane is this team's MVP and he needed to get this shutout. He's been playing his best the last two weeks. The shutout is good for him and for the team to rally around.
  13. He also doesn't watch the whole game
  14. Beautiful.... TCoS and a Zane shutty. Great weekend, boys.
  15. Oops... wrong thread lol
  16. TCoS!!! Zane gets the shutty!
  17. Great, hard play, Murphy. Love to see it.
  18. Speed and power is a fun combo. Atta boy, Parksy
  19. Lots of puck possession but got cute a lot during the period. Get one, floodgates open. Pucks to the net, bang a rebound. We're so much more physical and talented.
  20. I, for one, sure am broken up about it
  21. The stuff on KFAN was great. Berrario (sp?) is in Kuwait and was connecting with the soldier's families. Great radio. Very emotional.
  22. It's unreal that this kid is captain worthy. Wait, no it's not, it's Minnesota.
  23. Definitely saw it differently than you. And that's not even mentioning his assist.
  24. It was two, but, I don't disagree necessarily.
