  1. It's not a lack of respect, it's a lack of preparation. It's clear as day that Melrose doesn't do his homework before the tournament and relies on what he's heard of on the east coast.
  2. Melrose will rave about us and Bucci will man crush on BC? Definitely got that flipped. Bucci knows the college game way more than Melrose and is consistently talking about us Twitter. Melrose could have very well been delivering felatio to Alex Tuch and Jerry York during the NE regional with weekend.
  3. I've got Boeser ripping a couple. Let's see if they can beat our D. 5-2 Sioux.... Boeser x2, Stecher, Pogo, Rhett
  4. Was literally just thinking the same thing. Ugh, sports. I'm a d@mn full grown adult. Why does this stuff do this to me?!?! Lol
  5. If we play a full 60 against any team on any night, I always like our chances. We've seen it many times this year.
  6. Didn't we just have a 14 year old commit? Ugh... cmon boys. Do it. For yourselves mainly, but for all of us, too.
  7. My guess this is a chemistry and depth thing. Roy was out for awhile and my guess is that kept the top line in tact. As far as I'm concerned, Roy is definitely their best player and is a top line player on the overwhelming majority of teams.
  8. Hahaha welcome to Sioux Sports. We are the kings of the tangent. Our second line of Rhett Gardner, Luke Johnson and Austin Poganski are big boys that play very physical, but all bring good scoring punch. Poganski and Gardner in particular are dominant in front of the net. Johnson shoots from all angles and the other two try and bang rebounds. Our third and fourth lines have players that can score. Bryn Chyzyk has a great shot in space, Shane Gersich has game-breaking speed, Coltyn Sanderson has shown a good around the net scoring punch in the second half and Joel Janatuienen is a hard working, two-way player. I'd take note of our d-corps. Troy Stecher and Tucker Poolman both have dominant playmaking ability. Stecher might be the best player on this team and that includes the CBS line. He does everything for this team. Hope that helps.... and makes you nervous
  9. Thanks! I appreciate appreciate the read.
  10. Do tell about our culture. Winning a national championship is No. 1 on this program's mind year in and year out.
  11. DDC couldn't wait any longer. Here we go. It's tournament time. http://daddydumpandchase.blogspot.com/2016/03/ncaa-tournament-mw-regional-from-queen.html?m=1
  12. I don't get why everyone is thinking our norm is somehow blown away with one poor weekend. This team is giving up 1.85 goals a game. We can shut them down just like anyone else in the country. That being said.... I'll take 5 haha
  13. I tried to look for it for my blog, but couldn't find a replay.
  14. What about it? Their 30 wins or their 6 losses? I just don't understand why people are less confident in this team than in recent years. Just SO much more talent on this squad.
  15. How often are teams really put in "win or go home" games before the NCAAs, though? Two years ago is the only team I can think of in recent memory.
  16. Ugh.... Target Center. DDC takes a look at another interesting weekend at the Frozen Faceoff for UND. bit.ly/21GVfZ3
  17. We wouldn't have gotten the X unless St. Clown lost and that didn't happen. I understand your point and your concern, for that matter. Just let the year as a whole speak for itself. Every piece is there, just gotta get it done.
  18. We have lost in the X and recently just won a Cincy regional (13-14?) .... Long story short.... let's GO.
  19. On neutral ice, the best team usually wins. We'll see if we are. I have confidence that a 30-6-4 season isn't simply a mirage.
  20. You noticed a lack of urgency because there was truly no huge reason to play urgently. Absolutely Duey would have played if it weren't the third place game.
  21. I watched both games. It happened the last two years and we went to the Frozen Four both weekends following. Of those three teams, this one is FAR AND AWAY the most talented. I don't understand. What happened in MPLS this past weekend? UND lost to a team who had everything to lose in a game that realistically meant nothing and tied a team when both really didn't care to be there. I saw parts in both games that we played very well and with it now being one-and-done, I'd be surprised to see anything less than our best.
  22. Nope. And I have a S6, too.
