Good call and the entire post is exactly how I feel. Will this be a trend to lose close games while handily dominating opponents? I surely hope not. But, right now, it's just one game and is really not a big deal.

Step back and look at the big picture, indeed. Game 1 in which we handled our competition in every facet, but didn't pot one goal and tied. The big picture, as what BSV was saying, was that we tied on the backs of a great goalie performance on the road in Game 1. Zero trends have been established at this point.

Well, I think it's a matter of having Wolanin on there is pretty much like another forward.

Mantha has a career .913 with THAT dumpster fire of a team in UAA. He's a very good goaltender. With that said, no excuses for missing open nets. None. It just can't happen.

I think Pogo will be our second-leading scorer this year, but has a lower ceiling than a guy like Kawaguchi or Mismash. I see those two as stars in the making. Adams just below that. Not sure about Jones. I still have this thought in my mind that he kind of muddled around at OSU and had to go back to Junior and don't expect a lot out of him. But, he's been getting rave reviews. As far as Gardner goes, he needs to live up to his potential and I think we can both agree that it's there.
