This is insane. 0-5-1 when scoring 1. 11-0-3 when scoring more than 1 goal. Can you get a more simple formula than scoring 2 FREAKING GOALS? Honestly, this is encouraging, to me. We find some consistency in putting the puck in the net AT LEAST TWICE, we have proven success of being able to win games. Two goals a game is absolutely not hard.

In this scenario, I vote Yon and JJ. Gooch has played really well, IMO, the past few games. TO, Smith and Simo is a good line to go against UNO that lacks a bit of a scoring punch and/or some physicality. Seems like we can use this line to wear them down a bit.

To be honest, I'm a casual watcher of the WJC as it typically comes at a time with no college hockey to watch. I would have never known about this bracket integrity issue until you said something about it. So, for me, I enjoyed watching that game yesterday and I have no doubt in my mind those kids loved playing in it. It'll be a great memory for them. With that being said, no, I am not in favor of it ruining the integrity of the tournament. That does suck. I never said, nor implied, that I was. I simply did not know. However, that game was fun, IMO. At the end of the day, I wouldn't want this to happen every year. Haha yes, those Bills jerseys were so bad. So, so awful.
