To be honest, I'm a casual watcher of the WJC as it typically comes at a time with no college hockey to watch. I would have never known about this bracket integrity issue until you said something about it. So, for me, I enjoyed watching that game yesterday and I have no doubt in my mind those kids loved playing in it. It'll be a great memory for them. With that being said, no, I am not in favor of it ruining the integrity of the tournament. That does suck. I never said, nor implied, that I was. I simply did not know. However, that game was fun, IMO. At the end of the day, I wouldn't want this to happen every year. Haha yes, those Bills jerseys were so bad. So, so awful.

You're speaking for them here. You think this may be a big time memory for them going forward in their careers? Absolutely it will. I'd be willing to say this makes it much more memorable. How many players get to play in this tournament and then get to play on this kind of stage? Very few. You're spot on in regards to the injury conversation, for sure. No doubt about that. For how bad the conditions are, this has been a fun game to watch and still LOADS of talent being shown on the ice.

There's many other games in the tournament to showcase these players. And there have been plenty of skillful plays today.

I like our chances. It feels like Monty and Granato have eyes on the NHL. Berry probably does, too, but I don't feel it's as urgent. To me, this feels like a big advantage.

See this is the disconnect... what defines dismissive in this situation? It's asinine to compare UND and SCSU side by side and to say that are on our level. It's simple facts. However, I've yet to see one indication that anyone is silly enough to suggest SCSU shouldn't exsist, just that they aren't as good as us now. Could they get to that point? Yes. What is being said of these "have nots"? That they don't compare to our history? If that's it, some on here are way too thin skinned.
