I was at the Hobey award ceremony. While Eichel may be a great player, and a great person for all I know, I was not impressed with the way he carried himself during the ceremony. Zane and Jimmy Vessey sat on the stage,feet flat on the floor, upright, with their hands folded on their lap. Eichel slouched in his chair, one arm over Vessey's chair, knees out with his feet on their sides, constantly swigging from a water bottle. The only thing missing was chewing gum. Pretty cocky for an 18 year old, I thought. I got the impression he was thinking, hurry up and give me the damn award already.
