Honestly, I think despite practice you have to throw him out there eventually just to see how he handles the pressure. Trial by fire, something Cam Johnson knows all too well and he turned out ok(aka national championship tender ) As far as the #1 spot, it's Cams too lose in my opinion. He was spectacular this year and I am in no hurry to replace him after the performances he had last year.

Nice post. However I don't see Tomek playing 3rd string behind Hrynkiw. I think he'll start a game before Matt does next season honestly. This is to take nothing away from rink, he was outstanding when called upon last season.

They have it down to 2 so if someone can hack into either president schaefer's or SME's email that would be appreciated. I doubt we'll ever see the rejected logos but I, for one, would really like to.

MN and ND have the same number of championships in MLB, NBA, NFL, and the NHL in the last quarter century. But you guys are phenomenal at hanging those participation banners and "improving". But MN fleeced the tax payers for a billion dollar stadium so you can HOST a Super Bowl... yippee

It may improve their "status" but it would definitely decrease the quality of their hockey opponents judging by the past 3 years of the newly formed leagues. And yes I only look at hockey because I don't think there's a chance in hell UND football is invited to the big 10.

Maybe, tough to say. The way it was dragged out made people pissed off, even those in favor of a new name. At least Nokota would have more closely met the criteria that the committee laid out, which imo would be an improvement and given some legitimacy to the process.

Obviously it made too much sense. God forbid we get a nickname that actually meets the criteria the committee laid out.
