Does "directly after" refer to a set time frame, say 1 second? Does each face off have a winner? I'm considering becoming a statician and seems tedious and prone to error. Just like saves, I have been an off ice official and know the discrepancies in that process.

What exactly qualifies as a face off win? Obviously a draw back to the defenseman, but what is the determination on the scrum in the circle and what transpires?

So the TV timeouts are the same all year? seems like the NCAA is staged to benefit a team with a couple of loaded lines and some specialty players. With this in mind, Simonson's face off skills would be an asset.

Is the TV timeout issue a Frozen Four thing, or is it also present at the Regionals? How does the TV timeout compare to regular season? I would think it would be standardized.

I guess I deserve that, for the record I am not a racist, just a bumpkin that hasn't been out in the world much. I have been reading Siouxsports for several years and the comments revolving around the Target Center and the pat downs along with several comment about the facility being a basketball venue misled me to believe the persons that attended "wolves" games were in need of a pat down, why are they so enamored with patting down "rich, white people? I have never been patted down, sounded horrible, now I am intrigued. I didn't get patted down in Philadelphia, what a bunch of slackers, or at the Ralph... I am willing to face my fears, colonoscopy will be scheduled. In a more serious tone, I do apologize for making what in hindsight could be taken as a racist comment.
