You don't feel they are playing worse than earlier in the year? I certainly do... as far as dogging it goes, there are times where a lot of guys are coasting... there are times where guys don't want the puck, waiting for the next guy to make the play. Other times you can see they are trying so hard they are just gripping their sticks too tight. I don't know the answers to this mess but I do know that this is a way different team than we saw at times in the first half of the season.

How did they not call that interference on Kiersted?

What I find so unforgivable about this year's team is that we've seen that they can play well... It would be a different story if this team had played this bad the whole season. The fact that they keep getting worse and worse shows the kind of weak mentality this group of players has. The streak of NCAA post season appearances seems to be more and more likely to be done... this team just doesn't have the heart. I feel bad for all the hard-working teams before them that put in the work to develop over the course of the season.

Well Miami knows they can play a very physical game without repercussions... who cares if they take a penalty? They know UND isn't going to do a damn thing with a power play.

Nothing quite like a UND power play to make a very average team look fantastic...

I just tuned into the game... I was posting that before the Miami goal. Is Thome hurt? This goal sits squarely on Kiersted's shoulders.

Why the eff is Cam still in net tonight... I guess the coaches have given up just like the players.

They whole team played like garbage for most of the game, and yes, Cam is part of that team. To say that none of this loss is on Cam is ludicrous. I'm not sure that Thome could've done better... but Vegas odds are he wouldn't have done any worse.

If they didn't they would be sitting the next night... if Berry doesn't have Yon and Casey Johnson in tomorrow he is seriously off his rocker.

Is there any reason to play Cam anymore? Given the fact the Thome has shown he is a decent goalie (better IMHO) why not ride him since the wheels have long since come off this bus anyhow. This team has shown it has no guts... lazy play, wanting the next guy to pick up the slack... Even if they somehow make the tourney they have shown they have no business being there. No grit, no heart... Berry needs to look to next year to correct this mentality and the first way to do that would be to get Thome more playing time.

I can deal with a team that skates hard and loses... it is very difficult to watch a team work hard for the first 20 minutes and then coast. Some players are too used to having things come easy to them and others are just waiting for someone else to pick up the slack.

No one is bitching about Cam tonight because when he is back-up he doesn't have a chance to let in his usual soft goals. No one is also bitching about Thome because despite the score, tonight's outcome falls squarely on the shoulders of everyone besides the goaltender.

I'd take players that can play a full 60 minutes before I'd take more skilled guys. Lazy passes and too much counting on the next guy to make a play. This team hasn't played a full 60 all season.

Thome... Peter has not been given much help by the D tonight. I would like to see him have the chance to play back to back... not just come in when Cam isn't playing well.

How do you not stick with Thome right now? As we saw on Friday, the fans are not the only ones concerned about Cam's soft goals. Maybe Thome is the better goalie and maybe he isn't but he sure is the hotter of the two... Add to the fact that when Thome starts we see a better overall team in front of him for whatever reason. I think we will really find out what this team is made out of in Omaha. Just win!
