I would've lost money had I bet on this game.
I saw that one coming, Duke was really solid last season although playing a pretty weak schedule.
Was surprised the Clemson offense didn't look a little more uptempo and wide open with Garrett Riley taking over.

Was hoping for Heil or Hendrickson, really didn't have much of a preference on who but thought both were easily the 2 best available.

We gonna be going back to Nike jerseys?
Have noticed the SiouxShop selling some Nike North Dakota Hockey apparel.

That stinks…I thought he would for sure choose us.
I'm with ya, I felt really good about our chances for a long time
Makes Laurila and Lindberg even more important

Oregon and Washington will reportedly get $30 million in B1G revenue distribution. Basically B1G found something on the clearance rack they couldn't pass up.

If bump comes here…don’t we have too many F? He’s solid but not a college hockey stud at this point
I think we could take another forward but even if we have to make room for him I'd certainly push a guy like Albrecht or Montgomery out to get Bump.

Cleveland has now traded their starting shortstop who in defense was having a much worse year than last and one of their top starting pitchers.

We have heard all about the ACCs GOR but seems to be ton of rumors specifically about Florida State in the last week or so. The other one that has a lot of talk right now is Arizona to Big 12.

@AJS ... This. I'm holding to it.
4 to BXII (CU, UA, ASU, UU)
4 swallow pride, take a smaller share, and go B1G (UW/UO/Cali-Stan)
2 end up with MWC under some nameI think if the B1G wanted Oregon and Washington they would have already grabbed them. Thinking they are waiting and lurking for some of those ACC schools when they become available. North Carolina and Virginia are the top two but maybe Notre Dame reconsiders after a couple years of not being able to get a bye in the playoff, maybe Georgia Tech to get into Atlanta.

Seems like Colorado to the Big 12 is pretty well done, wonder who else the Big 12 will target?

You don’t need to connect with anyone at UND to start a collective. UND can’t be directly affiliated with NIL anyways. Just start one and you can show the Alumni Association how it is done!
I've heard Schlossman mention this a number of times and while I know it was true at the beginning I don't believe that to be the case anymore, I think the rules were kinda adapted in March or April. I know Minnesota announced Dinkytown Athletes as the official collective of Gopher athletics in mid April. They also made one of their top compliance guys a new role titled Associate AD for NIL/policy and it says he will work with Dinkytown Athletes to help amplify efforts and awareness for Gopher student athletes.

I would be top $ all the coaches are tampering. Or the coaches have someone else (in their network) that is tampering for them. I’m next to certain on it.
The transfer portal in every sport has changed everything. I do not agree with coaches actively calling players directly on other rosters and trying to recruit them or like some basketball coaches I've heard mentioning to a guy in the handshake line something like "good game, I'd like you on our roster next year".
The thing most coaches do is reach out to a guys high school, junior, family member and hey we have an opening and think your guy would be a great fit if he ever thinks about leaving where he is at.

The Vikings are ignoring the QB position at their own peril. If Kirk goes down in game one and is out for the year, I don't know if they win one game with Mannion as the starter.
Next years QBs at the top are better than this year so as much as it would be tough to endure during the season I really wouldn't mind seeing the Vikes flop next year. Their biggest issue is they have been stuck in that in between area when they don't make the playoffs. The middle purgatory picking between 10-16 and rarely getting that top 5 pick that are advantageous for finding the franchise QB. Williams and Maye would have been the top 2 QBs in this years draft if they could have entered.
-
I feel like the Vikings draft was better this year than last. Coming into the draft I had about 5ish guys I was hoping for in round 1. Originally it was Devon Witherspoon but he shot up the boards around combine time and that was dead. The dream was Jaxon Smith-Njigba and that actually got close but the rest of the list was Joey Porter Jr, Jordan Addison, Zay Flowers, Quentin Johnston, and Deonte Banks. I probably would have took Porter just because their CB room concerns me but Addison was right there with him for me. I would have preferred other DBs than the two they got and didn't like trading down from their first 4th today. Clark Phillips, Kelee Ringo, Terrell Smith, Jammie Robinson were all higher on my list. Would have liked to bring in a guard and LB somewhere. Would have probably went elsewhere with RB as well just because the fumbling issues scare me with McBride but if they can figure that out he could definitely be a steal.
Round 1, Pick 23: USC WR Jordan Addison
Round 3, Pick 102: USC CB Mekhi Blackmon
Round 4, Pick 134: LSU S/CB Jay Ward
Round 5, Pick 141: LSU DT Jaquelin Roy
Round 5, Pick 164: BYU QB Jaren Hall
Round 7, Pick 222: UAB RB DeWayne McBride -
Man they've had some ugly loses this year and gets added to the list, let it slip away

The Wild are toast, don’t see much chance for them to win the series. Not a fan of Dean Evason, I think he made a major blunder by switching goalies for game 2. I don’t care what they did in the regular season rotating goalies, when your goalie plays as well as Gustavsson did in game 1 there is no way in hell you change goalies for game 2. Just a really, really stupid move.
Think Evanson has bought into the only problem the last game was the reffing and while it was the big problem that doesn't mean you can't adjust anything. Seems like a real stubborn guy to me. Zuccarello has sucked for about a month outside of a game here or there how about moving him down and Nyquist up with Kaprizov? Dallas pressures hard high on the PP maybe work the PP down low instead of trying to force through it? And whoever has the PK has been atrocious in the last 2 playoffs.
Agree I would have went back with Gus game 2 but will not be surprised if Fleury gets game 6 Friday, Gus has been pretty shaky handling anything these last 2 games.

My god losing a series to the Washington Nationals I think they would be a team that would be a 2 and BBQ in the NCAA Tournament this season.
What is that like 6 of last 7 Ls now?

I really don't care if Miami or Western Michigan for that matter leave but I wouldn't be a huge fan of adding Arizona State either. I know they have a big name but if 2 are leaving I'd rather replace them more regionally with Mankato and then one of St. Thomas, Augustana, or Bemidji or if you wanted to expand I guess you could add all 4. I like staying as more of a regional conference.
