Hopefully he's not still waiting at the airport for that private plane to land....

Very few guys are actually on full scholarship, so they could have been offering him more. 18 full scholarships to split up between up to 27 guys.

Teams were complaining about the new 9 game conference schedule and having to buy 3 home games the years where they only have 4 conference home games. To help with that, they are allowing B1G schools to schedule FCS games in the years they have 4 home/5 away conference games.
-
I've never said that it anything close to that. If I have issues with someone or something I'm likely not going to air it out here but in the off chance I do, I'm actually going to address the issue and not make continuous posts implying something. The fact that you continue to make posts like that and then admit your aren't surprised that someone takes issue with it says a lot. Put your money where your mouth is and provide specifics so people can see what these accusations you keep hinting around actually are. There are plenty of people on here who have enough info to back up your claims or tell you you have no clue what you're talking about. At this point your cryptic messages are just trolling, which you've basically admitted.
-
So you're bringing your vague accusations over to the basketball forums now?

Basically what he said or your interpretation of it to make whatever point it is you are going for? Here is his actual quote: “What attracted me to the Big Sky was they play kind of run-and-gun,” Moody said. “If you can’t shoot, you’re not going to be successful, and that’s kind of how I’d like to play. UND and their system, it completely goes into my style.” Shocker that a kid who likes to shoot was attracted to an uptempo offense that will create open looks from behind the arc. UND's offensive sets are very similar to what SDSU runs. However they have the freedom to run in transition. That doesn't work as well when you have a bunch of new pieces that haven't played together and they can't hit shots. Stewart and Geno are still going through some growing pains at the guard spot. If they can figure it out, they are going to be very good. If not, this team will continue to struggle. Looks like some of the first is finally coming off Dale, so that's encouraging.

He didn't go anywhere, he just isn't playing. He's only 6'6" and not sure he has much of a post presence. A little surprised he didn't see a few minutes against NDSU with Seales out but I'll let the staff sort out minutes as they see fit.
-
Daum is absolutely terrific. Hoping Avants can draw a quick charge or two against him. I'm not sure UND has an answer for him, not that many mid-majors do.
-
Which is exactly what Wofford's average was on the year. Didn't watch the game, but their QB had pretty decent numbers for an option QB. The thing you can't do as a one-dimensional offense is get behind multiple scores because you turn the ball over 2 times in a matter of 4 minutes right in front of the opponents end zone.
-
That Georgia Southern bunch seemed to do pretty well being one-dimensional when they were in the FCS.

UND was close, needed one more shot to fall and couldn't get it. Missing Seales hurt big time in this one. His game is tough to defend and he's also good on the defensive end. I think having him back flips the results next month. I thought Walters and Brown filled in nice, Kinsey was a little disappointing. Was surprised Brown didn't take a few more 3's, he's got the skills to be the shooter UND is looking for. NDSU hasn't shot anywhere near close to that from the field or especially on 3's all year. Miller is good despite their fans hating on him, they are going to struggle without him next year. AJ finally hit some shots, he's been hampered, but still an all-around player. Flagrant on Stewart was a tough call, though unfortunately probably the right one. Richman not getting T'd up during the game was a bit of a stretch though. Reffing was what it was, UND's athleticism was the reason they spent half the game at the line. The free throw shooting was huge in this one.

Not possible to do in an NCAA sponsored playoff.

Another ndsu player suspended for violation of team rules....

But you would at minimum get the player's names right at better than a 50% rate.

That comment was more vague and not directed at you specifically. I've heard the argument for years how UND was behind it and from some of the previous posts, that thought is still going strong. I agree with your assessment that UND wouldn't have been supportive of it. I also agree that while it hurt NDSU, basing the entire lull (relatively speaking) that NDSU had on the scholarship reductions means they were only as successful as they were due to outspending everyone. Obviously some parity was expected to a point, but there were more than just scholarship reductions behind the change.
-
So NDSU lost their advantage to beat up on schools who couldn't offer as many scholarships (which is a group that didn't include UND) because they were now more competitive. I get that to a point but I have never understood the uproar from NDSU fans. They are basically admitting they couldn't win anymore because they couldn't outspending the bottom half of the NCC (not taking into account some "extras" they still managed to do) and somehow that is the reason for their downfall? The talent was spread out a little bit more, that is completely logical. But the argument basically means NDSU's only advantage was money because once that was reduced, they weren't as competitive. The fact that it somehow continues to be blamed on UND is pretty funny and unfounded from everything I've read, but facts aren't exactly required when trying to blame UND for another problem down south.

The amount of things wrong in this one.....

Huge surprise....

Not exactly breaking the bank, at least with his base salary. Would/will be interesting to see what the incentives are.

Wait, don't the top 7 or 8 teams in the MVFC make the playoffs?

Wait, I thought it was UND who was being accused of not paying their contractors.... http://www.inforum.com/news/education/4367284-contractor-submits-13-million-claim-against-ndsu-building-cost-overruns

Since your radar shows there will be 2 new western FBS conferences, which would be at least 16 teams and possibly 20, do you actually think the P5 will actually feel bad for the G5 teams and give them more money and/or a bigger pieces of crumbs? Or will they give them the same percentage that now gets to be spread out between around 33% more schools?
-
Considering it appears to be the best team Bubba's had so far and Montana couldn't get to .500 in conference, it sure seems would have been their best chance. Does Montana get carry-over points or something from previous years or something? Otherwise I can't figure out why they make such a difference.

Montana was 3-5 in conference last year. They played and beat 5 teams that were better than Montana. The EWU part has merit, the Montana thing does not.
