See where uscho.com is now saying that UW is a lock for the tourney and will draw a surprisingly high seed.
-
YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. My radio feed is about 2 minutes behind.
-
Somebody needs to administer an MRI to Woog to see if there is ANY brain activity.
-
"You're a joke". That quote from Sioux radio color says it all.
-
Any word if Hirsh not playing is related to his post-game activities last night?
-
This is the reason the WCHA needs to do away with the 3rd place game. The 4-5 winner plays 3 games in three days with little rest. Something that isn't done at any other time during the year.

It makes you think what effect, if any, the treatment players like Parise and Vanek received had to do with them leaving early for the pros? My guess is that $$$ was bigger issue but at some point those guys had to get tired of getting beat on every game.

Great stuff PCM. Thanks for the insight.

Here is excerpt from article in today's Rocky Mountain News: Sioux coach Dave Hakstol and his players were upset with Paukovich and referee Don Adam, who assessed a minor penalty for boarding while Bina lay on his back. Bina eventually was immobilized and carried off on a stretcher. North Dakota spokesman Dan Benson said Bina would remain at Regions Hospital in St. Paul overnight for further evaluation. "It's believed to be a serious injury and we hope to have more information to release (today) with the family's permission," Benson said. "You never want to hurt somebody when you're playing," Paukovich said. "(Bina) was going for the puck and I was just going on the forecheck and I hit him. I hope he's all right. I never mean to intentionally hurt anybody. "I didn't think it was a big deal until he was laying on the ice." North Dakota's Nick Fuher, who scored a first-period power-play goal, skated in front of the penalty box where Paukovich sat and slammed his stick against the boards. Paukovich got an earful from the fans and Sioux players every time he stepped on the ice after the incident. "I wasn't really worried," Paukovich said. "All of us are able to protect ourselves, and there was too much on the line for anything to happen."

I just saw the Bina hit on replay for the first time. Federov's point is what makes the hit all the more flagrant, once Bina touched the puck the play was dead yet the guy lines him up for a cheap shot anyway. 2 minutes and 1 game is pathetic.

Any further word on Murray, Prpich and Fabian injuries? I'll be cheering for anybody but DU tomorrow, even the Gophers. I can't f'ing stand Gwozdickhead. I'd love to be a 2 or 3 seed in DU's region come tourney time. Great effort from the Sioux.

My audio feed sounds like a record on 78 speed. Keep the updates coming, you are my eyes and ears. GO SIOUX.
-
Man, I gotta give you guys listening to the twin Gopher idiots on TV some credit. My stomach can't handle it. Any word on Bina's condition??
-
I think the bubble the Badgers were sitting on may have just burst although I'd love to see 5 WCHA teams make the tourney. Great win for the Sioux. Keep it rolling.
-
If those Brackets hold true, Denver gets hosed. If you're a number one, who would you rather play, Wisconsin or Dartmouse? I just hope they don't double up two brackets with WCHA teams like they did last year.

The rule screws the 4-5 winner in years where the Rodents are the 2 or 3 seed. Having to play Thursday night and Friday afternoon is difficult. The only time the 4-5 winner doesn't have to deal with this is when it is the Vermin. That said, who cares? Sioux are on a roll. Thursday won't come soon enough.

Is Bruckler in goal for UW?
-
I noticed Eaves benched Bruckler tonight. Sounds like the AA goalie stole one. Go Tech, Go SCSU, Go AA.
-
Great weekend Sioux. For all those doubting the Seniors, you better hold off. When the games start meaning something, they played pretty darn well. Bring on the Final Five.
-
Especially since this is the last home game of the season. Pathetic. SCSU up 2-1 over CC after 2.
-
St. Cloud up 2-1 over CC now in the 2nd.
-
CC-SCSU still 1-1 in the 2nd.
-
CC and SCSU 1-1. About 2:00 left in first.
-
See where UW pulled it out 5-4 over AA.
