  1. Took me awhile, Doc. AG 8.0 is up and running. Happy Festivus to all the FOAGies! (Friends of Answer Guy)
  2. If Breske has a new job by New Year's, it would be possible it was already lined up before he resigned. If he doesn't have a new job soon, it would be hard to argue that the resignation was voluntary.
  3. Now he can be a moron on two different user accounts.
  4. http://www.inforum.com/event/article/id/259563/group/home/ "In lieu of gifts, donations can be made to the NDSU Development Foundation, designated to the Chapman Family Endowment. The Chapmans established this scholarship fund to honor members of their family. " Isn't irony cool?

  6. Has it ever been explained why Cameron is not punting all the time? Last spring it sounded like Hellevang was done punting; Cameron was the guy. Anyone know what changed?
  7. I hope that Muss is the answer at Head Coach for the next 10 years. Although I'm starting to feel bi-polar watching this team. At least this is one of the good weeks! That said, here's my list of people to someday move back to Grand Forks: - Tim Tibesar - Eric "the Beerman" Schmidt - Brooks Bollinger [Answer Guy's choice - Casey Bradley]
  8. I usually only get to a game or two a year...mainly stick to the foosball. But I've got a semi-related hockey question: On the Big Dogs sports report, they go Canadian for the hockey scores. Does the saying "Put Mum in the garage" actually mean something or just a random Canadian thing to say?
  9. Answer Guy lives! http://www.areavoices.com/answer_guy/
  10. Any chance that one of those rocks is the Dakota Marker?
  11. I'm a bit curious how an "attack" by an anonymous person on another anonymous person could be classified as a personal attack, defamation, or libel. But I'm pretty sure that the Answer Guy isn't looking for a hassle from THE MAN! If anyone knows an appropriate spot where future editions might be posted, let me know. Anyway, I can't imagine there would be anything left in Fargo to mock and ridicule!
  12. BISON Media Blog Forum's Jeff Kolpack and Kevin Schnepf; WDAY's Steve Hallstrom and Answer Guy Answer Guy takes your questions Q- I heard that the Fargodome was going to start playing one of my songs on the PA system. Is that true? (Tom Petty, Gainesville, FL) A- Yes. For the rest of this year, AC/DC
  13. BISON Media Blog Forum's Jeff Kolpack and Kevin Schnepf; WDAY's Steve Hallstrom and Answer Guy Answer Guy takes your questions Q- Should all inquiries be in the form of a question? (Alex Trebek, Malibu, CA) A- Yes. Q- My record against NDSU as a head coach is 5-2. Overall, I
  14. Dear Dewey-Boy, Can I call you Dewey Boy? Just D-Boy? I read the letter you wrote to the GF Herald. You did write that? GRAND FORKS
  15. Published September 16 2009 NDAC football: Fans may encounter delays Saturday Bison fans will need to find alternate routes to the Fargodome for Saturday
  16. If things don't go well with SR, I hereby nominate the nickname of "Spirit", with a new logo designed that looks exactly like the old one.
  17. Kind of hoping there aren't UND highlights shown on Saturday night. Probably wouldn't be shown for a good reason.
  18. Do you think they realize the game is in Grand Forks? Might be a problem if their crew is down south.
  19. If you're interesting in flying with our team charter we have a few seats left. The cost is $480 per person/double occupancy or $530 per person/single occupancy. (This includes flight/hotel/game ticket/ground transportation.) We leave Friday morning and return Saturday after the game. If interested, please call me. (This came from Cindy Klug at the football office)

    Mark Bacon

I regret to inform you that Mark Bacon passed away Wednesday October 22nd at around 4:30am. Mark played on the 1984 and 1985 football teams. Mark was diagnosed with melanoma cancer to the brain in August of 2004. He had the brain tumor removed and was cancer free until September of 2007. When the cancer showed up in his liver, he faced it with undaunted courage; going through three different types of chemotherapy throughout the past year. At this time I do not have any funeral arrangements to pass on to you. We are about to board our plane to California, so hopefully someone will get that information out. It will likely take place in Braham, MN. Please keep Mark and Sue in your thoughts and prayers.
