  1. Sorry for the delayed response. Looks like I may well. Will know for sure about 4:30. Will take callers at that time if anyone is instrested. Mygarske may call ahead of time if still isterensred.
  2. One of the only things that beats a one goal game in the WCHA on a Friday night is a Saturday night tie game with five minutes to go in most any WCHA arena. For those of us within a hundred miles of the MWC tomorrow night, be there, or be square. Let's put the hurt on those hostile and abusive LandCow faithful. Tonight's game was a blast, at least for the folks we was sittin' around. Can never argue with a win on the road.
  3. Here is a spot of late notice best placed on this thread. It looks like I do not have as many friends as I thought I had. Therefore, I've two, behind the Sioux bench tonight. Pretty danged sure anyway. Bat Phone: 612.201.3239. This phone number will self-destruct in thirty seconds. ps. Maybe two for tomorrow too.
  4. Now that's what I'm talking about!!! Cage match.
  5. Lammy needs to get himself a haircut and to stop thinking about his rock n' roll band. Rock n' roll and long hair are sure signs of a lack of discipline. A lack of discipline leads to a deterioration of focus. A deterioration of focus leads to shakey goaltending. Lammy did give up way way too many rebounds, at least from my vantage point. Maybe that was Supertrex five rows back of me hollering about the rebounds all night long. I could not agree more. Those blocker pad saves kicking back out to the slot are dangerous. Just like long hair and rock n' roll.
  6. Gottem. Thanks a million for the response Gramps.
  7. Great offer DamStrait. Sorry I was jammed up. Lower bowl at the Kohl. Doesn't get much better than that. Safe travels.
  8. Those CSTV announcers are dipsticks. "Don Hakstol??"
  9. Sioux look like a real quality Sioux team. This is gonna be a real special year. Mark these words now, based on the Sioux work ethic. Not to mention the boatload of talent and a coaching staff second to none, even without Brad Berry, the best D-Man coach of them all. Doubly cool to see #28 controlling the zone. God Bless Robbie Bina and all of his mates. See you in St. Louie.
  10. Hey Folks . . . . An abrupt change of plans. Momma's leg is bad and she is staying in town with Poppa. Now, we need two more tickets to both nights of the Maine series. Lower Bowl preferred. Please e-mail me at fortparker911@msn.com if you have any at a fair price for a gaggle of folks who have been Sioux fans forever.
  11. Fine job on the USCHO piece PCM. I always look to you first for the best top shelf reporting on all of the games, the name blame game, and all that surrounds both. The State is going to hand the NCAA its head. All that remains to be seen is whether the NCAA wishes to accept it on a stick, or on a platter.
  12. My bad Red. I always confuse those Johnson boys. I was thinking that Jack was Erik. Never mind. This said, Lucia will have his chance to prove that he knows how to coach, and develop, a potentially solid d-corps this year.
  13. A 56-year old true freshman by the name of Cookowski notches a pure hattrick in the third for the Sioux to win 8-6. I scene it in my dreams too.
  14. Like maybe the way that Lucia and staff work with and "develop" their defensemen . . . .
  15. Good news. Very encouraging. With Wisconsin on board near right out of the chute, Lammy is going to need some time between the pipes right off the bat. Maybe a game or two in net as well.
  16. I understand it is an eye thing. The orbital socket, or whatever it is called. I have no word on how serious, or how long he might be out, if at all. I think that the clown who suckered him needs to have a little private talking to, behind closed doors. Just like those grave robbing bums from southwestern part of Wisconsin.
  17. My source, The Source, of course, just reported that Lammy took a sucker punch from some deadbeat somewhere off the ice and is busted up, at least for awhile. Anyone have any further details on this? Looks like we may be starting the season with Walski or the new guy, Greico? It's always something in the rough and tumble wide world of sport, eh?
  18. Hey Chuck. How you doing? Technically, your statement above is far from true. Check, e.g., the early and consistent posts of a few individuals, most notably, perhaps, those of that hockey sage also known as The Triouxper. I would post them here, but I am not very smart on searching the archives. The Triouxper knew. So did a few others. If the rest of us didn't, we were very early converts. Got Oshie? It's gonna be a great season.
  19. 2 Kool 2 Ever B4gotten. Go Sioux!!! Those of you in GF, get out there and greet the bus. Or the plane.
  20. Please tell me this radio feed is kidding me!! Dressler!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 34-31.
  21. First play. Twenty-one yard chunk. Rats. Another procedure penalty.
  22. Yes. Kick off OB. Ball on thirty five?
  23. No problem. Plenty of time. Here we go. Again.
  24. Smart call. Blitz. Second and ten. Minute thirty. Ball on the 21.
