  1. Kaip of course. He is the one who climbed under the hood, got his hands dirty, and fixed what little was wrong with this team last Saturday. Now, the bus is all tuned for the runs to St. Paul and St. Louie.
  2. For those of you who may have missed the throw down between 7>4 and me earlier this year (not the reputed rematch out back of the Moon that never transpired), here it is. Needless to say, 7>4 went down, leaving only his dog to bark harmlessly my way. I know alot of people complain about fights in hockey. I rather enjoy them, perhaps only because they get the crowd rocking. NDH Takes Out 7>4 In Under :20
  3. When we are raising the hardware in St. Paul and St. Louie, and raising No. 8 in the rafters next fall, Kaip's fight will be remembered as THE turning point of the season. This team has plenty of talent, and plenty of goal scoring ability. Kaip's fight brought its heart to the forefront. From the cauldrons of adversity are steeled the wills of success. Those in the arena could see the lift that that fight gave the team. You see a glimpse of it as Kaip leaves the ice in the YouTuber post. See y'all in St. Louie. Naysayers be damned.
  4. Geez Goon. C'mon. There is alot of hockey to be played. Good thing that you are not lacing 'em up every night. As for the comments of others regarding the atmosphere in the Ralph, why is it that the team always has to carry the fans? We cheer when they are doing well, but whine to high heaven when they are not. Luap. You start any cheers last night, or were you in the jeering section? The players play the game. The fans make the atmosphere. To blame players for the fans' lethargy is ridiculously unfair. They oughta have their own board to complain about what worthless and selfish louts their fan base can sometimes be. Alaska, like every team in this league, is no slouch. Tough from top to bottom. Like everywhere, it is a different world these days in the world of WCHA hockey. The Sioux will be fine. It is getting late. With all the knashing of teeth that some folks do, I sure wish that I was a dentist for the fans on this forum. As for Lammy, he is playing great. He had every reason to rub his stick at the high criers from UAA, who stood at center ice jawing long after the game was over. Anyone who thinks that that was somehow a classless move, or should be grounds for discipline, needs to get a sense of humor. Hak absolutely stormed down the tunnel immediately after the final horn. I expect a win tonight, and I expect a couple of game misconducts for fighting as well. Be there. Or be square.
  5. Thanks Shawno. Check yours. I'll talk to you tomorrow. Safe travels to everyone who is hitting the woad to the Walph.
  6. Looking for two tickets for Friday for my elderly parents. Pa does not see very well from our regular seats, (row P) and I would like to get him right down on, or near, the glass for a game so he can "feel" the game. Maybe first three or four rows. They are in GF. Old legends. I will be driving up from the Cities. e-mail me at fortparker911@msn.com. I will check back in the morning, and before I hit the road. Will leave a cell phone number then.
  7. Damned straight this is awesome. Making a D-Coordinator at a Big-12 school so soon after his college career is over is very remarkable. A big big deal. Too bad the Goofies do not have the foresight to look to set the hook on this kid now. Best of luck to Tibesar. The Wildcats just jumped many notches up the D-1 ladder. I look for Tibesar to have a head job, at a major D-1 school, within five or six years. He obviously has talent, and moxy. Of course, we all knew that after enjoying his career at Memorial.
  8. Does this mean that Foyt is suiting up? Or is Scotty, impliedly, always the odd man out. I'd go with Foyt most anytime. Big heart. Solid head. Willing to go into the corners. Thanks for the recap PCM.
  9. Of course it is not on Moo U's radar. Have you ever seen a land cow try to manuever on the ice? Why Cows Hate the Ice
  10. Big Joe on the PP. 2-1 Sioux. Thanks for the Hail Mary PCM.
  11. Say two Hail Marys. One for your transgression, and one for the Sioux.
  12. 1-1. 1:47 to play in the 2nd. Sioux controlling play, but no biscuit in the basket. CC penalty.
  13. Don't know my cigars very well. Red Auerbach's views of the world?
  14. I've got it. A skunk in a blender.
  15. I've got it. Especially with your stellar background. A newspaper.
  16. A Shepard in a blender?
  17. Hell, I'll take em!!!! Oh, wait. I am shopping for a ring tonight. One that'll fit nicely through my nose . . . . Have fun. Big Sioux win. Get to the World early. There is someone there who will have something for you.
  18. The stretch starts tonight. Sioux take two in Colorado. One game at a time. The twelve-step program for solid Sioux fans. See y'all in St. Louie.
  19. He is hereby conferred an honorary membership in the highly sought-after and much revered "29er's Club."
  20. My bad. I always, and I mean always, confuse Jack with Erik. The Johnson boys. Sorry Don and Gopher lovers.
  21. Money talks. bull$%!# walks. We'll see which is the case here. Wouldn't be the strangest thing to ever happen out of Camp Lucia.
  22. Don't forget the guys, when the opportunity presents itself. Nothing, at least almost nothing, beats hanging with the guys around the arenas and at the Broadmoor. Very chiche.
  23. Objection. Hostile. Abusive. Untrue. I see that you are pretty tough behind that keyboard 7>4. Why was it that you didn't show for that scheduled Slap Down in the alley behind the Moon back in early December?
  24. Sorry bvf. I am only reimbursing gasoline for those traveling under 1000 miles. Thanks for being so honest on the mileage ticker.
