Well, here is an update. I can now offer two chairbacks each night in lieu of SROs. The chairbacks are single seats. Your choice. Two SROs, or two single seat chairs, each night. Two nights suite at the Embassy Suites. $275. That's four tickets that would likely go on the street for around $150, at least, and two nights in a Four Star. Sorry, cannot cancel the hotel and let the tickets go. We will move in and enjoy it if need be. I will stay away from the windows at the end of the hallways, and do not plan to combine drinking with a dart match. First taker takes. No takers, no problem.
-
FHG. If boneheaded Gopher fans like you would take your seats instead of angling for a place in line to the latrines the SRO seats would be just fine, which they are. Tell you what. I'll take your seats and you can stand with the Sioux fans. Given your prediliction to waste time here, it is clear that you would rather be one of us than one of yours.

PCM. Your links call up a USCHO score page for me. Same thing happened on Sunday when I tried to give you kudos for the fine recap in which you honored Veteran Keeble. Am I doing something wrong, or is the linking mechanism at USCHO flawed?

Sorry Chandler23. It's part of an auction package. Use it or lose it. With upgrades. Your SO would love a weekend at the Royal Embassy Suites.
-
Slappy. Get back to work and drop another order of fries. There are fellow Gopher fans patiently waiting to be super-sized.

It looks like I have a couple of leakers on the big series. As such, I think that I now have the following package for sale: 2 Standing Room Only tickets for both games. Standing rooms at The John are really good viewing positions, with a railing. Two nights at Embassy Suites Hotel, I think in downtown MPLS, only a few miles from the campus. The value of the tickets and room is easily over $300. I intend to let the package go for $275. I can deliver the packet to any reasonable location in the Twin Cities on or before Friday. Respond si vous plais. There are two or three posters who I will give immediate preference to if they are interested, and they know who they are. My handlers. Otherwise, they will go to first taker, if any.

I think that historically, for whatever reasons, hockey numbers go from 1 to 30, with an occasional 35 for a third string goalie. Bookend numbers. Rest of the team selects the numbers in between. Alaska's coach, probably as a recruiting incentive, lets players choose any number that they want, from 1 to 99. That confirmation was when UAA was at the Final Five a few years ago. Interesting how certain players selected certain numbers. Of course, all of this is premised on the premised that I rarely know Jack.

It is going to be a great weekend. There will be rafts of Sioux fans in The John, and I remain supremely confident of taking three, if not four, points from the rodents. Regardless of outcome, heads will be held high both going into and leaving that solid hockey venue. What with all of their money problems, I am surprised that Maturi does not schedule at least one of those games for the Excel and a bigger gate. Obviously, too late to do so this year. UMtc fans can crow all they want about their goaltending and their chemistry. I think that they do not have nearly as much of either as they would like to believe. Denver gave them a good run, and earned a split, and Denver doesn't impress me much. Here we go Sioux, here we go.

I didn't see it all. Gonna go buy it now though. You talking about the coach's daugther? Funny how Rob Lowe's career kinda swooned, and how Swaze's hit the stratosphere. Also, I am pretty sure that that goalie was none other than Superstar Keanu Reeves. The only better Youngblood is that crooned by Leon Russell. Beyond that, I am quite confident that young blood is well in my past.
-
Rats. Can't skate, at least hardly at all. Congrats on the bike win. Youngblood. A great hockey movie, eh?
-
I've been to a couple. Last one was is the year the Sioux lost 1-0 to Denver . . . or maybe it was the year before. I will see what the Friday brings Shawn-O. It'd be blast being at that bean feed to kick the weekend off on a solid start.
-
Better get it someplace safer than your wallet. Just watched Youngblood and got a few pointers. I might have to muscle it off you if indeed it is slated to be the winner.
-
Wow. Hockey Day in Minnesota. Just got done watching Rob Lowe as Youngblood on WGN. Real inspiring stuff. Wonder if LaDonny called that one in to get his boys back in focus for the stretch run. A Sioux win tonight, and a couple of barnburners on deck at The John.

Terry Casey I believe. Died in a car crash back in about '66. All American. My best recollection anyway.

Sorry. Don't know a thing about PayPal and am out of town. However, here is the link to The Ralph website promo. Note that you can order by phone, or likely do an e-mail exchange with gaming manager Jody Hodgson. Chopper Promo Details and Out-of-Town Order Options Good luck.

Actually, it is because you are always posting the action before I even hear the action. Maybe you are just lightning fast, fueled by whatever is fueling you this evening. Shakers? Jack? Or Hennessys?

Ray. Ray. Ray . . . .

Yes. Big character builder. PCM, you got the rapid feed? Everyone drive safe. Romp at the Ralph tomorrow night.

Vermont 3, BC 2. Big win for the Catamounts. Sioux need to put one on top of that one. Here we go.
-
Damned straight.
-
Wow. We're toast. Last Beaver win vs. Sioux was February, 1970!! At least according to the idiots on BSU Sports Net.
-
Midway through the third.

Coach made a boner when he said that he hopes Minnesota runs the table in the WCHA. What about the games on Jan. 26-27 Dave?
-
Geez. Hakstol quoting the Bible. Ecclesiastes. Right time and a right place for everything. Turn, Turn, Turn. Turn this season right around, that Kaip fight did. Nice recap, as always, PCM. Thanks.

We have reserveds in the upper deck, behind the goal. Nice railing to lean on. They are high, but good seats. Best things about 'em. Inexpensive. We can often move down, at least when the Gophers are not playing. And, we set next to probably the thinnest skinnest Gopher fans that the world will ever know. Great fun in the upper deck. Just like being in the lowest decks on the Titanic. Living and breathing with the proletariat. Solid hockey fans on a limited budget. Last year, some Sioux student fans joined us and we had the times of our lives. Especially with LaDonny and the Gophers dropping two, and the thin skins telling us to watch out, the Gophers would go on a roll in the NCAAs. They went on a roll all right. Rolled right over. Season over.
