BC 1 UW 0 Game just started

I'm looking for the big sweep. I have been busy most of the week nad heard Toews and Lammy aren't suiting up. Hope we have enough horsepower to pull the sweep off. I expect a big weekend from Oshie.

Some of you might think this is lame, but I gotta tell you a quick story. Last week, I was whining about living outside of GF and not being able to watch the Sioux on television. I received an instant message from YaneA, who is a long time member of this forum. She readily offered to tape the Maine series for me and mail the VHS tape to me. I accepted the offer of kindness. I got a box in the mail today from her. It contained a VHS tape of the Sioux vs. Q series, the Sioux vs. Maine series, a game program, a Sioux calendar, a Sioux schedule and a personalized Sioux key chain. Keep in mind I have never met this lady before in my life and only "know" her from these message boards. Needless to say, I was blown away with the gesture. The world is a better place with people like YaneA in it. Thank-you!

Maybe it was just the group of people I hung out with as a kid, but we used to refer to mulletts as "hockey hair." Anybody else? And yes... I too had a mullett a long, long time ago.

I spent lots and lots of weekends nights at the "rink-dances" playing my air guitar to Shout At The Devil. Then it was off to Taco Johns or Hardees, which were both in walking distance. Then off to watch late night rock videos in my residence behind the old Happy Harry's. God, what a loser.

This thread is funny. After reading it, here are my thoughts: Def Leppard is a great band. Motley Crue was better though. Kid Rock has a few good tunes too. Music today sucks (Hip-Hop). Some people still have mulletts and I can't figure out why. They look like retards. Pam Anderson is a skank. I'd hit that in a New York minute though if given the chance. Whether it's offensive or not, the Ralph's "atmosphere" isn't nearly as good as it could be. Blame it on knowledgable fans, poor performance or whatever. If it upsets you, do something about it. Frankly, it doesn't bother me one bit. I can't stand UW even though I live here. That said, they blow the living hell out of Sioux sporting events. It's just how it is. Again, no offense to anybody....
