My feed is working fine. Glad to see them broadcast the exhibition game. I see there are some Goofer recruits suiting up for the U18 squad. Maybe our boys can meet them at the blue line for a little how's she going? You know... just to give 'em a little taste of the future.

I'm with you on Oshie possibly sticking around. Toews will go for sure I'd guess. For what it's worth, and it doesn't amount to a hill of beans in the grand scheme of things, my brother in law met up with Oshie's father during his freshman season at a game. Word at that time was Oshie would be playing at UND until at least through his junior year. We shall see. I hope he sticks around though. He has Hobey written all over him.

Anybody know if this game is going to be offered via video feed online?

I must be really out of the recruiting circle. I didn't realize we were pursuing D. Toews. Is he close to making a decision? Who are the teams in the running?

Did he get tackled on the first shift of Friday night's game?? I figured I'd get some negative comments loaded with excuses and flames headed my way. Too bad... I was really hoping to hear some intelligent insight.

We have all heard everything that needs to be said about the Sioux's two stud players, Toews and Oshie. I either watch (internet) or listen (internet) to every game played. It's tough to gauge much from a radio feed and the video feeds aren't all that much better. That said, I recently attended the Sioux/CC series in GF and paid close attention to #9 and #7. I have to admit, I was a little disappointed with what I saw in Toews. Now, nobody put words in my mouth. I am not saying he sucks or anything remotely close to that. I also realize how young he is. Maybe I was expecting too much after reading all the hype. What I saw was a good player, not a great one. There are probably aspects of hockey that some of you guys notice that I wouldn't and maybe that's where I'm not seeing it. Oshie on the other hand looks like a man amongst boys out there. I see relentless effort, huge hits, second to none stick handling, plays being set up, you name it.... Every time he is on the ice he makes something happen. I just don't see that with Toews, at least not as frequent. Am I off-base here or do some of you guys see the same thing?

I was very, very disappointed with Greico's play last weekend in Alaska. I'm sure everybody was. I can see both sides of the coin with the kid. I do realize that he is only 17. That said, the opposing teams won't change their game plan just because a young player is on the ice. This is big boy hockey and you can either play at this level or you can't. Time will tell with Greico. I haven't seen enough of him to make a determination one way or the other. I think we can all agree that he needs to improve if he wants to be the man at UND. The question is - will he? There is plenty of time to find out. I think most hockey fans automatically blame the goalie when the bad guys score. The truth is that most goals are a result of a breakdown with the defense before the shot was taken. One last thing from my point of view, which admittedly isn't worth the price of a cup of coffee. I think some Sioux fans fall in love with not only the team, but individual players. Take Greico for instance. No matter how poorly he plays, there will be a handful of fans who will make excuses for him. Other fans will see a few bad performances and come to the conclusion that he sucks and always will. It's just how it is. Different strokes..... Enough of the rambling... I got a hockey game to go see live for the first time in 2 years. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT!
