Sounds like Hexy is/was in town. Was listening to Tim H on the radio this morning. Sounds like Mr. Hextall wishes now he would have stayed his senior year. Apparently he was telling guys in the locker room to not leave early. If true that is interesting.

I think he is pretty darn good if not the best defensemen for his age group. If we land this kid it could be the equivalent of a Jonny Toews,as far as draft position goes.

I believe you are correct. I still think he would have been better served staying at UND as that move he made certainly hasn't paid off yet.

Looking at two former players who could have stayed their senior yrs but decided to go play in the pros. Gregs and Hexy. I am wondering if they are both wishing they would have stayed the last year at UND. We all know Gregs hurt his knee and was sidelined for a while but I must say both players have not exactly been having stellar seasons. Gregs has played in 24 games and has 3 goals and 5 assists for 8pts and Hexy has played in 38 games and has 4 goals and 6 assists for 10pts. I can't speak for personal situations but I can't believe both jumped for the money. In my opinion they both would have been better served staying their senior yr. Oh well..

The new building will house most of the technology that most campuses will share. UND will be responsible for the machines and programs running on those machines.

I agree I think if anyone goes it would be Kristo. I would love if he stayed but I would bet the big club will be pushing him to sign. In general I think at the end of this season we will see a lot of players leave the WCHA. You would think UND will probably have Kristo and perhaps a couple more. I am pretty sure UMN will have Fugstad and maybe Rau moving on. I can see the Swartz boys in CC leaving and it sounds like JT Brown from UMD is probably gone after this season as well. WCHA could lose some good players but this is how it goes and with those players leaving we will see who steps up to fill the void.

Who knows but I would guess he would at least stay at UND for another year or two to bulk up and repair that knee. Lets face it until his surgery is done and he has skated the Florida Panthers aren't going to pressure him to sign a contract until they know he has recovered from his knee injury. What not a better place than UND to find that out.

It sounds like per @UNDSID Rocco Grimaldi is out for the rest of the season. Kind of no surprise here.

Lets put it this way. He is a kid and kids screw up. So before we start acting all holier than thou we should just move on. He was kicked off the team and he paid a price enough said.

Well this certainly does not bode well for our season and that is not a knock on our guys. With these injuries mounting we just won't have the bodies to mount any sort of second half surge. I commend the boys and wish us the best but we very well could be looking at no Final Five and no NCAA tourney. So basically anymore injuries and we are really screwed.
