Just like any tourney, it only works if you have a great fanbase like UND follow it. How many of the UND fans booked the trip before they made it to the frozen four? What was attendance there last time they hosted?

I work with Tom P from the 97 team. At the beginning of the year, I asked him how the team would do. He stated, " we are pretty young" and left it at that. He didn't lean one way or another. This coach did an awesome job of making sure he had these freshmen paired up with an upper classman and that was key. At the beginning of the year, who honestly could say they saw this? I know I sure didn't. They always say it happens expectantly. After they made the run to start the season, I knew this team was special and I think they did too. Way to make ND proud boys.

I have heard that Ottawa has an inside track on him. I would like to see him sign with the Wild, but every fan would like him on their team. Anyone hearing anything else?

They must be part of the diving team too? I saw them fall easy all game long. Trying to draw a penalty for their strong part of the game. I think the refs got wise to it too. Just took both players?

I think that the refs for tonight's game will have a lot to do with how hard this game can be played. Knowing UND's luck, we get Todd Anderson tonight. Hope I am wrong. If UND can play the way they did in Cincinnati, they are going to be just fine. If the refs make this a non hard check game, UND will be in for a tougher game.
