My brother, a buddy and me roadied to Florence last year in a rented mini-van and it was a blast. The drive was almost as much fun as the game.

I just picked up 2 tickets this morning. Saturday can't come soon enough.

It's going to be an awesome game. It's just too bad the NCAA had to change the regions so Sioux/Lakers III couldn't be in Florence.

The less we get of Hennen, the better.

The Lakers took care of their end. Only 23 minutes until a possible rematch at the Alerus.

The power play could use a little work. There was a huge difference between the Gophers PP and UND's. It was fun (in a sadistic way) to watch the Gophers operate on the PP. They could do anything they wanted.

If you want to sit on your hands during a game and listen to it on your headphones, stay at home and watch it on TV. Each year, the REA is sucking more and more fun out of the games. I hope all of the students stand tonight. They can't kick everyone out.

The security guards were in full force in the upper bowl telling students to sit down. We were in 307 and the guards were threatening to throw students out if they didn't sit. Does anyone know the "rules" for standing?

I hate the atmosphere at the REA. The facility is top-notch and second to none but I'd take the old Ralph back in a second. You couldn't beat the atmosphere at that place and the student's weren't treated as second class citizens. I've gone to Sioux games at St. Cloud and Mankato and am envious of the fans that get to watch games in those arenas. That's what watching college hockey is all about.

Who else is in our region?

UND gets to open with the defending champs. UND should give them a good game if Scheving is sharp.

UND is in according to Bergstrom on WDAZ. They got in as the #4 seed and will play Central Missouri.

You won't have a problem getting side by side seats. The Ralph is running a buy one get one at half-price sale for the Tech series now so I'm guessing there are a ton of seats available.

The dude can't shoot. 4-12 from the line and numerous uncontested 3 footers missed against Mankato St. He's the reason the Sioux lost that game.
