Considering this is the exact same schedule as the 2015 regional in Fargo, this is what I expected.

Yeah, I’d imagine they are more of an equivalent to a St Thomas Academy/Hill Murray in the Twin Cities type of school.

I think consensus among the bracketologists has been Quinnipiac is a lock.

I think (and really hope) Berry has got to know Sanderson is coming back considering we don’t really have a backup plan at the moment if he doesn’t. I’m sure we could find one if needed but I’d rather not lol. I’d like to avoid a Tyson Jost situation where they thought he was coming back and then didn’t. Could set us back again.

Agree here. 2016 defensemen were more experienced. 2021 has more high end talent. 2021 also has a better power play.

And If they can’t he won’t last at UND.

Yup. We don’t have enough D for next year right now without getting into the possibility of a senior coming back. JBD, Frisch, Sanderson, Kleven, and Moore are the underclassmen. Adding Morrow and Luke Bast next year brings it to 7. JBD leaving would leave us at 6. So I think this new guy is here in the fall, barring anything else happening like seniors coming back, adding a transfer, etc.
