Please please please don’t break out the black jerseys. Go with the green as it certainly wasn’t the jerseys that dictated last night’s effort.
Berry is predictable as hell so you should expect the black jerseys and be pleasantly surprised if I’m wrong.

I think this game will be a better performance from our boys, but I see the same result. I’m guessing 5-3 SCSU.
I hope they don’t break out the black jerseys. They shouldn’t need a jersey for motivation tonight…their piss poor performance last night should provide all the motivation they need.Yeah… I’d expect the black jerseys. It’s predictable as hell.

It’s the way we recruit…especially at F. Bubs likes those grinders as opposed to the more skilled guys.
Lately I have been feeling like UND is where skilled forwards go to die…

It’s been awhile since a Sioux team has just laid over like this. No effort.
Is this sarcasm?

If Hellsten plays ok the rest of the way tonight...does he get the start tomorrow?
Nope.
… this is strictly based on how I have seen Berry use goalies in the past.

I would be curious if Driscoll’s save percentage is one of the lowest for UND in a while. Pretty brutal.
I don’t remember a starting goalie with a sub-.900 save percentage since I graduated from UND in 2009. I’d have to look it up though.

Did he age out after last year? My understanding, and I could have misunderstood, was that UND asked him to play one more year before coming to college.
He was age eligible last season for juniors (I want to say he’s 20?) but the BCHL was shut down for most of the year so when they resumed play in the spring he was injured and didn’t end up playing in any of Chilliwack’s games.
Since he decommitted in the summer before last season, he basically attempted to play another year of juniors like UND asked.

What part is weird? I'm not sure I understand.
You said he decommitted because he didn’t want to play another year of juniors when essentially that’s what he did. He was on Chilliwack’s roster last season.

Everything I heard about Rizzo was that UND was nervous about his injury, his play not being as it once was, and made the call to ask him to stay one more year in junior. He decided he didn't want to do that and uncommitted. Didn't have anything to do with Jasper. When he bolted, he was already committed to DU.
Sucks, but it is what it is.
Which is weird because he didn’t play last season anyway so he didn’t get to school any sooner than if he had stayed committed to UND.

We have some true speed, Calder and Budy had big jets on their assist and goal against the Dogs. Each line has a speedster or two but we are not small and fast or big and slow, somewhere in-between?
Yeah so… Collectively as a group I don’t think our team speed is as fast as it has been the previous 2 seasons. We have some guys with good speed but overall I wouldn’t say we will be known as a fast team. Not slow either though.

What’s the word on EGF’s Panzer? I watched EGF play a much improved Detroit Lakes team tonight. DL was ahead 4-2 until 3 1/2 min left in third quarter. Panzer scored to make it 4-3, then tied it with his 4th goal with 35 sec left. He got the assist on the game winning goal in OT. 5pt night. Very quick, great hands, sees ice well.
Is this the one that’s committed to UND?

I feel like the last time we won any games in St Cloud, Driscoll was their goalie

I watched the replay and didn’t see it , unless midco showed it from a different angle.
I’d check the archive from last night to see it. Midco showed a replay last night that was pretty clear. Probably the best view you’d get of it. I missed it Friday as well since I wasn’t able to pay super close attention.

When did it happen?
Third period on Friday. Midco showed a replay during the game tonight. Pretty significant slash IMO.

Yes, but I bet you don’t see them mention it at all. Was it even called?
No but after watching the replay of it I don’t know how you could miss it.

So Calder’s injured?
Yes. UND said he’s out with an upper body injury

Did Berry just pull names out of a hat for the lines , WTF!
What is he supposed to do? Every healthy forward is in the lineup.

Gophers went to the frozen four and returned pretty much their whole roster anyone who thought this was a bad Gophers team was fooling themselves
They didn’t go to the Frozen Four. They lost to Mankato in the regional final. But the rest of your statement is correct.
