Lucia speaks for Broten, Woog and Parise and saves the world

10477. More than I thought there would be. -
5.05 isn't terrible for a TE, caught 23 passes for 311 yards and 2 TD's this year, kid looks like he has a big frame and could turn into a decent run blocker.
-
1-34 is pretty brutal, reminds me of a couple years ago we were on that horrible streak...was it 0-60 something or 1-60 something?

You realize what you did there right? -

I'm sure we're not on the top of their favorites list, but I think Minnesota is right down there with us, both programs have had their share of "incidences". -
Exactly, why is that so hard to understand?
-
The point is you could justify raising ticket prices and nobody would balk IF you add games which the public finds attractive. If your home OOC games were against a team the public wanted to see, like UND, Montana, App. State, etc...people would be willing to pay a little more to see those opponents because they are well-known to the general public rather than teams like Prairie View and such. If that cost you another $10/ year for your season ticket nobody would care, if you raised prices $10 and brought in a couple crap teams nobody knows people might grumble.
-
Read this again. Were we even talking about any kind of series? If you don't think NDSU could charge an extra $5 or more per head for a home game against UND regardless if it was walk-up or added into season ticket prices then I guess I'm wrong.
-
You're missing the point, I'm just stating that when you have certain rivalry games that people are willing to pay more for you can increase prices across the board including walk-up and increase revenue for those games, in this case UND would be a game that would fit that scenario, whereas some OOC who nobody has ever heard of would not.
-
And this is one of the problems with getting them to agree to future home-and-home series, football is their cash cow and it's in their best interests to get the extra game at home every year, that's logical from a business point.
-
You factor it into the season ticket prices, most football programs and some other programs have certain rivalry games that they charge more for and whatever that is they tack on the season ticket price, it's probably only $10 per year so nobody even notices. It's pretty common, Montana does it for MSU and I believe EWU, UND does it for Minnesota and Denver, etc...

Ow...harsh. -
I saw that today, looks like $50 for cable and $60 for dish, good move by the NHL. Most people should like that price, over half the season for about a third of the price.

That's been the biggest problem in the WCHA for a while, even though you see the same refs all the time you never know how tight they are going to call it from game to game, usually you get a feel for an official if you have them enough, but it's a crapshoot almost every time lately. And not just from a UND standpoint, it's for everybody.
-
He's in on it.
-
While I think it would be great for both programs to get this started again even if it meant every other year, I can't see UND wanting to sandwich this OOC game between the 2 Montana's, it wouldn't be in their best interests trying to push for a playoff spot. If the schedule fell differently it would be a possibility.

Everybody loves blondes, even refs.

I hope alcohol was a factor in his post.

Yeah that will get them by next week.

Could be him then...it's the biggest need no doubt.

I really thought he did a poor job making adjustments, you could tell from the start SF wanted their lineman to take Matthews to the outside 5 yards into the backfield so Kaepernick could either throw or run in front of him, and GB never changed and it killed them. I don't know how many times Kaepernick ran right where Matthews rushed from and he was either engaged or on the ground behind the play. Great pass rusher or not, you have to figure out what's not working and change it up.

CBS will be crying harder, they lost their big comeback story with Manning they were hoping to carry to the Super Bowl which they are televising, now it's back to the old standby Brady to bring the audience. I would rather see 2 teams that haven't been there for a while if ever, but that's not what they want to see happen.
-
Wow did Denver piss their game away, get two special teams TD returns and 3 TD passes from Manning and lose in 2OT...Champ let Torrey Smith get behind him multiple times and then they let Jacoby Jones get behind them for a 70 yard TD with 31 seconds left to tie it...Manning must feel like he's back playing with his Indy defenses again. In the nightcap Green Bay gets a pick 6 right off the bat but SF doesn't fold and comes back to lead 24-21 at halftime, then runs wild in the second half to win 45-31. GB defense wore out after halftime, SF had the ball almost the whole first half and it showed as the game went on. Kaepernick ran for 181 yards and 2 scores and Gore ran for another 119 and a score...it looked like AP all over again. Please somebody beat NE now.
