    You want to be playing your best hockey in March, it sure looks like they peaked about a month ago and have been going down a slippery slope since. Truly hope I am wrong but not expecting much from next weekend no matter who plays or doesn't.

    College hockey pxp as a whole sucks nationwide. So saying he is hands down the best in the NCHC isn't saying much.

    Losing Kleven isn't the worse thing for Friday. Maybe they will play with some urgency like they did the month of Feb. They seem to play better short handed.

    It is fun to watch the MN tournament and see the puck movement. A world of difference than watching ND which seems to be more individual based.

    Doesn't that usually come out after this coming weekend?

    No way is that accurate. If they get swept they would be .500 which meets the requirement but their RPI would drop putting them in a precarious position of hoping there aren't a bunch of upsets. They sit 11th right now and getting swept put probably drop them another 2-3 spots for sure.

    Considering UND swept DU how is it they get the 2 seed?

    In order for for this to apply to Duluth they would neec to get swept this weekend by SCSU at home and then lose in quarterfinals next week.

    He did have a good point in that this tournament needs to be three consecutive days not over 5 like it is. If it was all the teams would have been in GF. Also to rotate it between Fargo and GF like state is.

    Highly doubtful it will happen but when was the last time both GF schools missed the state tournament?

    They could have waited until this afternoon to make a call. Drove up I29 mid afternoon with issues. Visibility was good with no drifts. Definitely could have gotten the 2 state qualifying games in late afternoon/early evening opposed to tomorrow's mess. Way to go Rerick.

    Blizzard today and everywhere south of GF gets pounded tomorrow with snow when do you get them in, Tuesday?

    The other two games are more important. If teams are in GF just get it done tomorrow.

    I would assume with the impending Blizzard tomorrow all remaining out of town teams would be staying in GF tonight.

    I grew up in western ND and in 6 years of jr high and high school I don't remember having a school day canceled because of winter weather and half the school lived in rural areas.
