    The locals are what they are locals. Way overhyped for what they actually are. Everyone thinks there kid is NHL bound until those in the biz tell them different.

    Yeah, I had to watch a kid on the GF Bantam AA kid who was the laziest kid you ever saw and just took up space on the ice. There wete 3-4 kids on the two A teams that would have contributed more than him in one weekends play. Only made the team as his dad is friends with the coach who hand picked the team and will move on and make RR cuz his two older brothers played there the last couple of years.

    At this point it actually means something to make the tournament just leave it as it is and don't water it down.

    Yes to an extent. Last names matter as well and who your siblings are just as important.

    Hey it is a success as we aren't in the D2 days anymore with the team made up of small town ND and MN kids. Things are different and if they can get 5 kids to show up to class it is a success.

    Nothing will be done. In the eyes of leadership everything is good. Kids are doing well in classes, FB made playoffs, MBB "improved" from last year, hockey will make tourney and well WBB is what it is a complete dumpster fire. All is well at UND.

    It would take a lot more than sweeping Miami to be ready to hang #9.

    Can't say UND has had a history of success in the NCHC tourney anyways.

    I think they run out of gas, they come out strong and fade at the end when it counts.

    If UND ends up getting sent out East so be it. It is the bed they made for themselves. Couldn't beat CC one and then decide to take the this weekend off. All the talent to win it all but wouldn't be surprised if they are one and done either.

    Yes but the talent on the two GF teams was very, very average. A quarter of each team was filled with basically B1 kids.

    Good last few weekends for GF hockey. RR wins state, Junior Gold Stallions win state, Bantam AA wins state, Bantam A wins state, Peewee AA wins state.

    It isn't necessary always open as it varies year to year depending on what each schools attendance is. I know a few years back if you lived in GFC district they wouldn't let you go to RR.

    As much as I would like to agree a 2 or 3 class hockey system would be brutal to watch. Watered down and just an extension of youth hockey.

    I don't disagree. Anything would be better than the Fargodome.

    The Ralph is an awesome facility no one is denying that but when you get less than a half of the arena filled the atmosphere sucks. Put that same crowd at Scheels and you have a great atmosphere. The ice is pretty much the same.

    I didn't think RR would cruise. Century was too good during the regular season.
