  1. Uhhh, I'm sorry...what was that?
  2. Good game last night, except for the fact we had to leave after the first period. My 2 y/o started having a melt down, he was too tired, so we had to bolt. After the two hour ride home, I got home just in time to watch the delayed game (1030p) broadcast on Wisconsin Public Television (didn't listen to the radio on the way home). I recorded it, and posted the fight on youtube...interesting to hear the homer Wisco announcers whine (Ron Vincent I think was his name). One of the 1st period student chant worthy of reporting: Apparently Lammy didn't bring out his water bottle in the first period. Some of the students caught on (they are right behind him) and started chanting "Where's your water bottle?" (clap, clap, clap clap clap) for a few minutes. This was then followed by "De-hy-dra-tion" (clap, clap, clap clap clap). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sj9JbOnfG8k
  3. I have it on DVD, and can get it up on youtube later....do you remember about when it happened?
  4. I hope they wear black tonight. Also, among the chants:" Sioux's a girls name" and "racist mascot"...
  5. Just got back to the hotel after the game. This was my first time at the Kohl Center (embarrasing...I'm only 2 hrs away) but wow...it's a great place if your a Badger fan. The students are unreal. I wish it were this way at the Ralph. They did show up late, but probably the norm. For the football games, the students get there half way through the first quarter, drinking as much as they can before entering to keep their buzz going. They taunted Lammy the whole game, chanting Lameroux SUCKS! When the sieve chant comes out, it's almost deafening. The chants are funny at times...at the end of the game, the last two minutes, they chant "Get Up Old People" (clap, clap, clap clap clap), and everyone rises. A few Sioux fans in the student section recieved the Asshole chant as the entire section points at them. I agree, the Sioux played OK, the Badgers had some breaks. It seemed in the first period the refs wern't calling penaltys against the Badgers. I admit one chant was funny, after the "Overrated" chant, they were chanting to Lammy (they were right behind him) "High School Goalie" (clap, clap, clap clap clap). I was with my 2 year old son, and he was decked out in a Sioux jersey, and he got so many "cute" comments from numerous Badger fans, so in that regard, they were classy. Before the game, we had a closeup up on the Jumbotron when they were showing various fans, he thought that was pretty cool. We had great seats, I think we were in a Sioux family section, LaPointe's mom was in front of us, as well as 20 or so Sioux fans. None of the Badger fans around us were nasty, I spoke with several of them, getting strange looks of course when I tell them I live in Wisco. Tomorrow night, the seats aren't so good, nose bleeders up in the 3rd deck. I have 20 hours or so to teach my kid to give the finger if we get the Asshole chant. If the Badgers beat Michigan tommorow afternoon (football), the students are going to be so lit up, tonights performance will look like kindergarten, and I don't know how we'll win...somehow they have to find a way.
  6. Not sure what gas prices are in GF, but they are around $3.20/gallon here. We have higher gas taxes, so you may want to top off around Minni.
  7. Yah, I got seats in 121 5 rows from the glass today, so there are still seats available, but I'm having a hell of a time getting a hotel room, big sports weekend in Madtown, maybe the biggest of the fall. I'm only 2 hours away, but going both nights, so I may just have to spend a little time in the car...a small sacrifice indeed.
  8. Good to see the nice fan turnout. I'll be there both nights, 2 of us on Friday, and 4 on Saturday (wife, 2/yo, and 4 month old...yikes!). I was able to get tix about an hour ago at www.uwbadgers.com 5 rows up from the glass on the blue line for tomorrow night...they weren't available earlier, so they may have just released some tickets, in case anyone else in interested.
  9. Don't knock it till you try it.
  10. That would be awesome. I don't know how long that would last at the Kohl center though. How long would a sign with Osh's folks #'s last? Not long I would hope.
  11. OMG that jersey is hilarious! How can anyone take that seriously!
  12. That would be genious! Gotta do it at the Ralph!
  13. Most high schoolers can spell.
  14. How about " WE LOVE BOB!!" Seriously, Saturday night's game will be on FSN...maybe you can do a FSN sign, like Fighting Sioux Now & 4ever...or some other FSN combination.
  15. Cow Bell Guy!! Hey, now that you mention him...what's the background on that guy? I saw his videos on youtube, and they are hilarious! Does he still go to the games?
  16. That's the funniest thing I've seen on here yet!! Awesome!
  17. Really? Oh well, keep trying kid....
  18. That's awesome...I always say that! We are in seat 1 & 2, i'm guessing that's on the aisle. This picture must be the general area...that must be row e, f, or g behind the box?
  19. Yikes...I just got tickets in 108 row D...is this behind the penalty box? Will my 2 y/o be ok in this section? Thanks!
  20. Hi, Way off topic here, but this seems to be a popular thread, so I'm sure someone knows the answer. It's been awhile since I've been at the Ralph. Where is the student section? Thanks!
  21. Probably not the forum to post this sort of info. Without names, etc, it doesn't really hold a lot of credibility. Hopefully the sleuths over at the Herald don't try to dig deeper. This sort of stuff is more National Enquirer material.
  22. Atta boy Taylor. It's good to see you stick up for your brother, and set the story straight. Brothers stick together. Hope we see you in a Sioux jersey too someday.
  23. maybe that's why Lammy let in a few Saturday?? Good riddance to Grieco...what a snake.
