I was sitting behind the Sioux bench for the Fri night Tech game last weekend, and Mario looked to be in pain at times, and pretty gassed. He may have still been recovering from the appendectemy, not quite 100%. Then he sat the Sat game. He may be trying to get back to game shape, much like Big Joe.

Blackhawks/Wild on FSN now

Apologies for perpetuating this goof lovefest, but by chance was a gopher thrown on the ice at the end of Sat night's game? On FSN, you can clearly see something landing on the ice as the horn sounds, then the camera angle quickly changed...just wondering.

My wife and I will be heading up to Houghton for the first time for Friday night's game...safe travels everyone!
