  1. I didn't get my parking pass or media guide last fall and had to call for them. I got the guide in the mail shortly after that and had to go pick up the pass. Things do seem quite unorganized this year. Hopefully things will improve. Thank goodness the team makes it worth the money cause the perks this year don't. But boy has the team made it worth it!!!
  2. The pregame meals information came in our packets last fall. They have not changed from that schedule that was sent to us. There was one scheduled each month all season long. I personnaly don't go up there during periods but have gone to the pregame stuff. I don't want to fight the crowds. If there was a place we could go that we wouldn't have to fight the crowds and could sit down, I would go there.
  3. I have been looking all over and can not find a reference to what happened between Sandy and Berry on Friday night after the game. I just caught the tail end of it as Poolman pulled Berry down off the glass and away from Scott. TH made mention of it on Saturday night briefly but that was it. Any ideas?

I was impressed by his play too. He really stood up to the much bigger guys and was even able to hold his ground with them. Good for Robby. I hope we get to see more of him. He looked a whole lot better then Marvin.
  5. I have been a Brandt fan since day one but he has really made some major improvements recently. He is more focused, and steady. Good for him. I hope he takes us all the way to Boston!!! Another point on Brandt is how good he is with kids from the area. He has an extremelly large following from the young kids in the community. He always has time to stop and talk to them, pop a puck over the glass during warm ups to them, or tap the glass in front of them when he comes out. While he had some problems in the past, it appears he learned something from it and matured into a really great person. GO JAKE!
  6. I love the idea of the Hockey band being seperate from the Marching Band. Now if we can find a way to fund this wonderful idea that would really be great! This is a true case of no budget and a lot of heart so feelings run really deep on this issue. Therefore, if I was offensive, I apologize. As for the mics, at first they were not even letting them be mic'd and you could not hear the band at all in the lower bowl. Moving the mic's might be a good idea though. But overall, I love the band and hope that they continue to volunteer to be there through it all, raising the money themselves and everything...
  7. The band is great - lay off. Until you guys are in the band, practicing daily, not having enough seats, and being told when you can and can't play by REA officials, don't comment. These are kids who are working their a... off for one credit. If they are playing in an away game, they are forced to raise the money to get them there themselves. No other group of kids on this campus has to raise money for a class. No other 1 credit class requires this many hours a day either. They are in practice three time a week for an hour and a half, they play how many games a week, and other extra things like parades, ect... How many of you would put that much time in for 1 lousy credit? If you think that the band needs to be better, talk to the State Higher Ed board. Make the band fully funded by the state, make the class more than one credit. Treat these kids with respect, not ridicule. Remember a lot of these kids read this message board, and your comments are a direct hit to someone who is trying. If you can do better, sign up next year, I am sure they would love to have more particapants, but remember you will not get any respect, and will have to work harder than you expect......
  8. Thanks for doing this. I have religion on Wednesday nights with the kids and always miss it. But I look forward to reading your recap on Thursday mornings. Any word yet on who is in goal this weekend?

If you take the jersy into the shop in the South Forks Mall they will do it as you wait. It is owned by our Randy Wilson, Dad to backup quarterback, Joe Wilson. They do a great job. Second, what does the +/- thing mean? I have been a fan for many years but never knew what they were talking about.
  10. I have 2 season tickets and have been on the list for 3 years for two more but have been told that the list is a couple hundred long.
  11. Parking was horrible!!! We sat for 45 minutes to get out of the stupid lot!!! Where were the parking attendants? I sure hope that we get better service during the year cause if not, the coaches club does not have any benefits over varsity...
  12. The nets will not be installed ona permanment basis until the NCAA mandates it. I believe that is something they are looking at doing for next year. As far as moving people, that is not going to happen. They had talked about moving people due to the student seating problems but that changed once the NCAA made the decision that camera must be installed by the goalie judges and that student seats could not be surrounding the camera. My seat is in the lower bowl behind our goalie for 1st and 3rd and the nets didn't bother me last night. I welcome their presence as I have seen many people being taken out for stiches before and during a game. Most of those shots are so fast that even if you are paying attention, you can't do a thing about it.
  13. I was at the Ralph for business - not to watch practice and just by chance saw the players. I did note that there were not people around watching. So I would guess that the practices are closed.
  14. I was over at the Ralph last week and saw Jake Brandt on the ice and off. There was also an article in the Herald this weekend where Dean said that Brand has the edge to be the starting goalie this season.
  15. C= Hale A= Schneider A= Brandt Now this should produce some interesting comments.....
  16. I have talked to two of the goalies and they both said the same thing. Only Ziggleman is coming in as a walk on next year. At this point, all four from last year are invited to come back for next year but Dean has made it clear that all 5 will not be on the roster, some will get cut but has to who and how many get cut, that remains to be seen. WHen they left last week, they all still hope they will be on the team come fall. I personnally believe only Brandt is a sure thing. The rest have to fight for it.
  17. There are six of us in section 103 - row 4. Anyone else??
