HAHA....I think it's fine to have your own name and number on the back of a jersey. I have one exception though, all retired numbers stay retired unless it was that last player who wore it. I wear jerseys of the teams that arn't playing all the time! I used to go to games to watch them but now I go to people watch and see what kind of jerseys everyone has (I would love to see more game worn ones). That's just my 2 cents....

If I am going to get a Belfour jersey or an Oshie jersey, I am going to make sure the jersey I got is the style they wore.

I believe commodore had the highest amount in the AHL, three million I believe. He had a one way deal with the bluejackets and they put him on waivers and he cleared so he went to thier AHL team and played. He made way more money than anyone, I believe he paid for new weight lifting equipment for the team.

I have! I wore one of my Sioux gamers (Matt Greene) during the Wild home opener against the Kings and my wife wore my authentic Zach Parise one. Everyone was really nice to us and they actually were trying to buy the Parise jersey from me!

Ryan Miller never won a national championship. David McKee (04-05) repeated Millers numbers, he even had a better GAA than Miller!

Since the 2001-2002 season only one player has scored more points that Jeff Panzer (Peter Sejna 82 points 02-03). So season like Panzer's arn't exactly a "dime a dozen" as you say. In 03-04 Jimmy Howard posted a 1.19 GAA, .956 PCT and 6 SO. In 04-05 David McKee had a 1.24 GAA, .947 PCT and 10 SO. By your standards McKee should've won the Hobey that year.

Im not sure either but it is pretty interesting to see all the college guys on playoff teams regular season roster (name will still go on the cup).

JPL was damn close to what Miller put up (number wise) in 2008; 42 GP, 1.75 GAA, .932 PCT and 6 SO and he lost out to Kevin Porter.
