Senser's played that on the overhead speakers. I'd bet 80-85% of the crowd at Senser's last night was watching either the UND/Minnesota State or the UMD/Denver game. I listened to the Lettermen bit that Kirby did. Pretty funny stuff. Puckett formerly known as Kirby.

Right next to WPoS and Greyeagle!

I'm assuming 01grad hasn't responded because he's not out of bed yet.
-
I knew it.
-
That's three for Saturday morning, counting me, thus far.
-
And what instrument did you play in high school, RWTD?

Siouxsports.com will be decked out proudly in my green Pizza Factory broomball jerseys once again this year. I gave them to Bigchief last night.

Quit raining on my parade.

The Wooger was a riot. My only regret is that I left my camera at home. I'd have loved to have gotten a picture with Dougie sporting a Sioux jersey.

Aaahhh...the Final Five is comin' to town...and along with it, another year of trying to find three minutes between periods to run around the X and try to meet and greet fellow posters from SiouxSports.com. No more, I say! I'm proposing a get-together sometime this weekend for siouxsports.com posters. Rather than try to meet and greet folks in the madhouse that will be Wild Tymes, Tom Reid's, or any other downtown St Paul bar an hour or two before the games start, I'm proposing a more laid-back pre-game breakfast at a local establishment. The Hoggsbreath is conveniently located in Little Canada, about 10 minutes north of downtown St Paul on 35E. It's about 1 mile north of Highway 36 and Rice Street. Or if you're at 694 & Rice Street, about 2-3 miles south. I haven't actually hammered out a for-sure plan just yet, but I'll see what the response is to a couple of options. The Hoggsbreath opens early and their breakfast is second only to your grandma's. Pool tables and dart boards a plenty. Maybe NorthDakotaHockey will even teach you how to hit the bulls-eye in a game of cricket! If I get 10 or more positive responses out of this, I'll take care of all the arrangements. 10:00 am breakfast Friday morning. Come, avoid the big rush, and spend an hour or two before venturing onward to downtown St Paul. OR 11:00 am Saturday morning. Same thing, hang out, watch some NCAA basketball, then head downtown to watch the Gophers/St Cloud/Duluth vs Wisconsin 3rd place game in the Final Five. Having personally met 01grad, Runningwiththedogs, dagies, PCM, Bigchief, Sioux-cia, YaneA, and many others on this board, I can honestly say siouxsports.com is the place where everyone knows your avatar. Let me know what you think!
-
Of course you're not! There are plenty of Gopher fans there to keep you company!
-
"Hey, are you a Denver Pioneer hockey fan too?" "No, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night."
-
I think all 8 Pioneer fans who usually attend the Final Five mailed their tickets back to the WCHA home office this morning.
-
On another note, anyone heard from siouxguyinstpaul yet? That drive back is gonna be a biotch!
-
Now all you need is five Gopher fans sitting to your right and someone wearing a t-shirt with ">" on it sitting in between them.

Sweet. I'm looking for a Nike authentic white in 48. If it's cheap enough, I might even be tempted to get the black in 48 as well and score the trifecta. Personalization I'll take care of down here. Thanks!
-
Speaking of jerseys...can anyone tell me how much a Nike authentic white would go for at REA or Scheel's? Would anyone be willing to purchase one for me en route to the Final Five? I would glady re-pay you at the X this weekend. I decided last night while watching the game that I need a white home version to go with my greenie road uni.

There's no question that UND would be hosting the late game in the regional as opposed to the afternoon game.
-
Uh...wouldn't that be trophy?
-
No work, no school, no Senser's on Sunday night, Smoggy?
-
Yea...thank goodness the Gophers earned the right to play in the Friday night game.
-
Section 102, row 11, seat 6. My two buddies and I who have attended Final Fives for about 10 years now will be there and Mr Gopher Hockey (pictured below as Team Sweden) himself will be wearing one of my Sioux jerseys for the Friday afternoon game with Wisconsin as I avenge my 2004 Final Five bet (Sioux 6-5 loss to Minnesota) thanks to last year's Sioux win in the third place game. I will thankfully be back in green on Friday afternoon, but you never know what you'll see Thursday night! I gave away a few more of the popular handcuff keychains last night at Senser's...stop in and say 'hi' starting Thursday night and I'll give away some more!

Thanks for joining us dagies...what a great night for hockey, despite all of the snow. I'm giving a shout-out to the Doug Woogster, who was at Joe Senser's working on pronouncing "Spirkov," "Pa-RISE," and "Oshay." Actually, I introduced myself to Doug and had a nice time chatting about the Sioux/Gopher rivalry. He's a pretty cool guy. Onward to the Final Five! Let's pack the X for the Wisconsin game, folks! Big congrats to the Dogs...and I don't mean SCSU Huskies...what a huge win for UMD against Denver.
