A friend of mine in Fargo has split the package with me the past few seasons. This year, he'd ideally like to go Fridays only, however, I'm willing to sell the entire package at cost if I can't find a taker for Saturday nights only. I am still living in Mpls/St Paul and with my son playing hockey this fall/winter/spring, I don't anticipate I'll have a single weekend that I can get up to Grand Forks.

Drop off the hockey moms at the Mall of America for two hours of shopping and the dads and kids can go spend two hours wandering around Xcel Energy Center. Picture leather on the seats and marble in place of concrete walkways and you'll get the idea. Unless you can get everyone tickets to a Sioux game...then it's worth the drive!

I am pretty old-school. Since the yellow Canucks jersey was around prior to the white, wouldn't that make me old-school? The yellow Penguins jersey is a thing of beauty. I also happen to like Michigan's yellow and even Minnesota's compared to the whites.

For some reason, I preferred the gold home jerseys to the white, much like I preferred the Penguins yellow jersey to the black one.

Did you watch games five and six this past weekend, redwing77? I've been a Wings fan since Stevie Y was appointed the captain back when they were the Dead Things. If DRW wins the Stanley Cup this year, it'll only bum me out more that #19 decided not to come back this season.

1970's Canucks... 1979 to early 1980's Canucks...contrary to popular belief, the "V" did not stand for "Vancouver", it stood for "Victory"... Starting in 1985, the Canucks changed their logo, but not their color scheme... In 1989, the gold home jersey was replaced by a white jersey... A horrendous third jersey made its debut in 1995... In 1997, the team changed colors and logos again after an ownership change. Another HORRIBLE third jersey made an appearance in the 2001 season... The crummy third jersey was scrapped completely at the start of this season. The original blue Johnny Canuck jersey made an appearance in the 2005-2006 season as a fourth jersey and is now the official third jersey of the team. I'm a hockey jersey fanatic and keep up-to-date on logo and jersey changes all the time and must cite a great source of information here, nhluniforms.com.
