...and I've never had an issue in Duluth, Mankato, St Cloud, East Lansing, Ann Arbor, or Houghton either...there just isn't the outright hatred between programs like North Dakota and Minnesota.

Your incident is unfortunate and I would bet 98% of true Sioux fans agree. I'm sure you read earlier posts on this thread regarding vandalism of my truck a few years ago at the Final Five. At the very same tournament, an adult Gopher fan walking by a group of Sioux fans having a conversation poked the chest of my then-8 year old kid (making sure to point out the Sioux crest on the jersey he was wearing) and yelled 'F*** the Sioux' at him. Before I could even say a word to this guy or pound his drunk Gopher face in, one of St Paul's finest quickly grabbed me and said 'let it go...this happens all the time when the Sioux win here.' Many of your fans won't be missed either...

With the addition of Rutgers and Maryland to the Big 14, I wonder what the possibilities are, if any, of those schools starting up hockey programs. Then again, if they get too many teams in the BTHC, they will have to split into divisions like 'leaders' and 'legends'. LOL!

I have a different definition of that word for you, going back to the 2010 Final Five when I parked in a ramp in St Paul. A car full of Gopher fans pulled in right next to me and had all kinds of nice comments for me as we walked in the ramp for a short time. After the championship game ended, I returned to my truck to find the entire right side keyed up and a giant dent by the wheel well along with white paint flakes (coincidentally the color of the 1990's hoopdie that had been parked next to me just before game-time). $500 out-of-pocket for me and $2500 out of State Farm's pocket later, my truck was as good as new. I suppose it's speculative to think the drunk morons wearing Gopher jerseys who parked right next to me would do such a thing...but if it was (and it wasn't likely an unhappy Denver or St Cloud fan), I would gladly refer to them as the 'biggest pussy move I've seen in years,' to use your words.

I disagree and think they will be accepted. Having a 10-team league is far easier than a 9-team league and UAH appears to have made a commitment to facility upgrades that will help its case. C'mon, Bruce, don't let the Chargers down!

What a train wreck the Wolverines have become this season. The Spartans beat Notre Dame last night to earn a split but this is the 3rd time Michigan has been swept at home this season. That never happens at Yost. It's also their 4th straight home loss. Wow.
