  1. ASU brass: "OK, to make this work, we'll need a conference with some cupcake opponents, poor attendance at most home venues, and little-to-no attention paid to it by school administrations. Your thoughts?" ASU AD: "So we're leaning towards Atlantic Hockey?" The brass: "ATLANTIC HOCKEY? Hell no. We're talking Big Ten!"
  2. Assuming Bemidji State can get things on-track, a WCHA Final "Five" of the Beavers, Mavericks, Huskies, and Falcons would be a heckofa tournament to see. Big 10 tournament bracket shapes up quite nicely if Michigan wins today.
  3. If this was women's basketball, Mac would be brought onto the ice and allowed to score a goal so he could get his 100th point. Then CC would be allowed to score to even it up.
  4. Let's watch the name-calling, ya Goon.
  5. A double overtime loss to an in-conference team ranked #16 is considered "going down in flames" now? Yikes. And I thought UND fans were a tough bunch!
  6. Some teams salute the fans after every game, win or lose.
  7. On a short-handed goal with 1:11 left in the 3rd OT. Wow.
  8. Can Pearson get the boys up for big games?
  9. Ferris gets an ENG...about to upset Bemidji State.
  10. Bowling Green wins it in OT 3-2
  11. UNH upsets Providence College 2-1
  12. Michigan Tech and Bowling Green both headed to OT...yikes. Harvard up and Yale down in the PWR. Michigan with a BIG win tonight on the road at Munn Ice Arena.
  13. FIXED.
  14. Harvard beats Yale 3-2
  15. Always great to see some fresh faces on the board. Welcome!
  16. After a week of wailing and gnashing of teeth, Minnesota's all rainbows and lollipops tonight.
  17. So Fairley and Suh were supposed to anchor the Lions' defense for a decade...and now they're both gone. Wow.
  18. Good riddace, Mike Wallace!
  19. The Dutchmen will not go quietly!
  20. Congratulations to the Region 7 champion New England Tigers on their state tournament berth. Always a good day to see Dickinson Trinity sent home disappointed. Games next Thursday: No. 2 Rugby (22-2) vs. Parshall (17-7), 1 p.m. No. 3 Fargo Oak Grove (21-4) vs. May-Port-CG (18-6), 2:45 p.m. No. 1 Four Winds-Minnewaukan (22-2) vs. Shiloh Christian (18-6), 5:30 p.m. No. 4 New England (22-2) vs. LaMoure-Litchville-Marion (18-7), 7:15 p.m.
  21. So they had to amputate that toe or what? Bad joke. Serious bummer for Mark MacMillan. Certainly not how you envision your "Senior Night" game going. Here's to a speedy recovery!
  22. First paragraph: lazy play by UND helped out by Holl getting Rocco twisted around after his stick hit him in the cage. Couldn't agree more on paragraph two: UND needs to be better prepared to handle TV time-outs during NCAA games. Michigan totally used the slow-down to their advantage.
