Absolutely nothing had changed at TC since the 2001 WCHA Final Five. Spent the championship game freezing in the upper deck. I don't think staff there can tell the difference between a puck and a pumpkin. And that includes the body searches. Totally clueless.

RIT over Mercyhurst + Mankato over Tech + Denver over UND = Minnesota out (obviously with UML over BU and MI over MN as well) RIT over Mercyhurst + Tech over Mankato + UND over Denver = Minnesota out (again, UML over BU and MI over MN need to happen). Mercyhurst was 0-2 this season against RIT, losing 8-0 and 2-1 (OT).

Chances of being bounced out of the western regional? LOL! BC, Quinnipiac, Omaha, UMD, Denver, and North Dakota. No shot of winning the NCAA's? Really? UND needed to go into the tournament on a roll like Yale was on two years ago too, right?

LOL! You can't claim national championships when the conference wasn't even in existence! Here's how I view the conference national championships race since the conference shake-up: ECAC: 1 Everyone else: 0 I saw a B10 football ad a few years ago that advertised X number of national championships in football. That number increased by quite a few in one single off-season thanks not to Ohio State, but Nebraska. LOL!

You're probably right. Give it another 30-50 years or so and B10 hockey will be a "tradition." The conference tournament might even draw a couple hundred fans!

10:30 am Saturday morning at the Hoggsbreath. 2504 Rice Street North in Little Canada. Easy off and easy on Highway 36 at Rice Street, which links up quickly with 35W south to Minneapolis or 35E south to St Paul. The letters are going up on the marquee outside of the Hoggsbreath as I type this...and, no, it isn't "WELCOME NDSU BISON HOCKEY FANS" either! There will be good food, good drinks, good stories, and some door prizes/goodies to take home from the Hogg.

I'm sure the 50 or so folks watching the OSU/PSU game last night agree with you, as do the 75-100 who saw the Michigan/Wisconsin game.
