That’s a true story, BTW. I believe it was the Blake Wheeler goal year. One of my kids’ friend’s dad was at the game and going absolutely crazy after when he saw me. I told him, “great win, we’ll see what happens next weekend.” “What’s next weekend?” ”Uhhh…the national tournament?” ”Huh? I thought this was it.” ”Nope.
