Saw the same thing in the Gopher/OSU series - MN player on the ice for five minutes after contact to the head...once the 5-spot is on the board, he's right back on the bench. No head exam necessary, I guess.

I think the only real solution is to bust out a TASER and use it on anyone laying on the ice for more than 5 seconds. If the player immediately pops back up on his skates, it's a 2:00 minor. If he continues to lay on the ice and flop around in pain, it might be a 5:00 major.

Wow, you're absolutely right! I just watched it on YouTube and Miami scored an even-strength goal with 4:08 left to make it 3-1. BU wouldn't make it 3-2 until there were 59.something seconds left. Amazing comeback.

Interesting scenarios - but I'm talking about a team scoring an empty-netter (presumably to go up 2 or 3 goals) and then winds up losing the game. Never saw it before 2009 and haven't seen it since!

The company I work with has had some employee turnover and the new sales manager called me yesterday to apologize about the delay in getting this put together. I'm hoping to see artwork today. I'll re-post the list of those still interested -let me know if there are additions or subtractions.

Dear God, A couple of other things I could use some help with: Yote 53 seems like a good guy - cut him some slack... Another Sioux hockey national championship would be great. Like this year... Oh, and speaking of the Sioux nickname, how about a sudden NCAA change-of-heart... A nice crowd at the Hogg next Saturday... The NCAA slapping Minnesota with the death penalty for the hockey program "just 'cuz"... I'm sure I have more, but that's a good start for now. Appreciate the time, MafiaMan
