Given the number of “Hawks” in college hockey, I’m 100% on-board with being North Dakota Hockey. I still get confused as to whether it’s RedHawks, Redhawks, or Red Hawks. Same with RiverHawks, Riverhawks, or River Hawks. Fighting Hawks is obviously better as two words, which definitely helps, but we’re still 1 of 3 prominent “Hawks” in a pool of about 60 team names.

Remind me again why the football team thinks it only needs the new logo on ONE side of their helmets...
